An ever revolving crew of motley bar staff, most with chips on their shoulder and hardly there to help or serve. It changes monthly so if you don't like it once a head back and try again a month later. Haven't bothered eating here.

We arrived as a party of four clean room, very hot with no air con or fan two flights of steep stairs which will test the fittest person. Myself and partner were in room facing the main road which was very noisy at night, our friends were at the back facing a lovely park which they said was lovely and...

The room was charming enough, comfortable bed. Shower and toilet in the corridor, but that was also ok. The service was very poor though, At arrival round ten in the evening there was no one at reception and I was told to wait by a guy in the bar. Waited for half an hour in the noisy bar that had...

Bathroom ehich you had to walk down corridor for which although private to the room was hairy and the toilet had not been flushed when arrived. Also traffic noise was very loud and also you could hear everything happening outside the room including cleaners...

This is our third visit and it wont be our last. We know London well and like this culturally diverse area with a good choice of places to eat in easy reach, e.g Small and Beautiful. The bar is packed with outstanding period features. Service is friendly. Breakfast is basic, which is fine for us.

We arrived and the bar staff checked us in very quickly. Room was on the top floor so if you have loads of bags it could be a big walk. The room was clean and large but the bathroom was tiny and if you wanted to dry after a shower you had to do it in the bedroom. Very dated...

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. Since we were looking just for a place to sleep, it was great - close to tube and overground, with many shops around. We were very happy with the choice. Pros: *Reasonably sized rooms and bathrooms. Not trivial in London, especially for this price. *Clean. *Breakfast. It's a continental one, but it's...

We stayed here for one night as we went to see a theatre show and this location is about 20 mins from the centre of London. We wanted somewhere to sleep that was cheap and cheerful and this guest house is perfect for that. The guest house is part of The Black Lion Pub downstairs. Upon arrival we had problems...

I stayed with my husband in the Black Lion Guesthouse, which is located in Kilburn and quite near to our daughter's apartment. It was our first time there and certainly can be the first of a series. The room is simple, but clean and spacious. They offer free Wi-Fi and for us it's the perfect location. Kilburn has everything you...
