I stayed here for a week recently whilst in London for work. The first night presented a challenge when the faucet broke in my lavatory, but the manager made certain that maintenance took care of the problem. They were also very kind in how they made up for my inconvenience. I did love the full English Breakfast every morning, which...

Booked on the internet (great deal). Right next to St Paul's Cathedral, tube about 5 mins on foot and bus stop 1 min. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. All you need in the large room (I had a twin): bathroom, bathrobes, slippers, iron, tea/coffee, safe. A good-sized swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and fitness centre. The staff are very accommodating.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights last weekend to meet family in London. The location is perfect for what we like. Easy access for both the tube and the buses so easy to get into the madness of the westend/shopping areas if you want to. We love this area of the city especially at the weekend as its...

Location is undoubtly a great plus. My room lacked a view, happens in London, yet I still find it sub-5*. Room as such was good, but without any Wow-effect. The big downside is all around breakfast: Choice is ok, but not 5*. Coffee is served, a stupid procedure as it simply makes customers chase for the service staff and it...

Stayed here for just one night with work so didn't get to sample everything on offer but just couldn't fault it. Room was lovely, I had a view of St Pauls, bath was huge and deep and shower great. Very comfy bed and a really good breakfast.

I'll start by stating that I'll always get the room at a grange hotel with a discount via the obvious popular booking sites. With this lower price that anyone can receive, the grange St. Paul's really is fantastic value for what you pay. As soon as you enter the hotel, you're met with the usual grange luxury, although this hotel...

An up grade allowed me a stay at Grange St Paul's Hotel which is a very modern building against a magnificent backdrop of the Cathedral . The building features an open atrium with glass door lifts so those with vertigo might like a room on the lower floors ! The standard room was clean , roomy and to a high...

We stayed on a Friday evening, I'm sure the hotel is very expensive at other times but weekend rates are very reasonable. The huge atrium isn't everybody's cup of tea and it is a bit impersonal but this is principally a business hotel, used at weekends by tourists. Our room had a 'restricted' view of St Pauls which was a...

We stayed here for two nights and it was incredible. The staff were so attentive and the rooms were beautiful. The pool was idyllic. I loved every second of my stay here, so much so I didn't want to leave the hotel. The room service breakfast was so good, I would definitely recommend it! And you even get complementary robes!...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
