Lovely guest house, the reception area was absolutely charming and the staff extremely helpful and attentive, they even offered to hold our bags a bit after check out whilst we had a wonder. The bed was super comfortable and the room spotless clean. Absolutely brilliant value for money considering the central position, extremely easy to get around with access to Overground, several buses and tube, will definitely go back and recommend!!

We were given a room right by the front door. The noise of the traffic on Wandsworth Road was very loud and continued all night so neither of us hardly slept. This was compounded by the drunks shouting at each other right outside the window. The bed itself was comfortable enough but one side had about 9" between the bed and the wall and so was really difficult to get in and out of. The was basin in the bathroom was crammed into a space between the shower and the door, hardly enough room to clean your teeth. The very small "flat screen" TV was mounted high above the bathroom door and there was no comfortable way to watch it. I definitely would not stay at this place again.

The Chelsea had everything we needed for a 2 Day stay. Comfortable bed, clean room, good shower, good towels, hairdryer and coffee making facilities. Compact room but everything was very efficient and location good.

Friendly, informative, helpful, clean, and the basement level room was well appointed with window with a room darkening shade. My friend and I enjoyed being here. The bus stop is close, McDonalds opened next door, and the Turkish restaurant a couple blocks away is 5 star!

The bed is really comfortable. The room is small but very neat & clean. Our room was on the groundfloor, so a bit noisy with people coming in and out. Every day clean towels if you leave them in the bathroom. Very kind & helpful staff. Good connection to different parts of the city. Good breakfast left of the guesthouse called Delicias, Portuguese delicatesse with great sandwiches. Cross the street going up and at the end go right under the bridge the more lively part with restaurants & pubs, try Mommie, Japanese /Peruvian fustian dishes. Next time I would book here again!

We stayed here a few years ago and thought at the time it was 'okay'. It must've had a revamp since then because I found it had really improved. The room was laid out well to give plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. My friend took first shower and said it took a while to warm up but it was fine when I got in. Everything was spotlessly clean and we had a really good nights sleep. We arrived quite late and there was still someone on reception who checked us in quickly. It's a bit far out from the city centre but worked well for us for one night. Would stay here again!

I booked in haste, 3 months in advance. Realised my error, had to cancel. Lost £547 because the immoral people at Chelsea Guest House decided to keep my money. DO NOT SEND MONEY TO THE CHELSEA GUEST HOUSE.

Without a doubt the worst nights sleep I've ever had! It's very clean and tidy and staff are nice to your face so I thought it would be good...I was wrong. They reckon it's soundproofed, the noise was unreal, people screaming and shouting in the hallways all night, squeaking stairs with people thundering up and down, woken up every half an hour! Then someone was hammering away on the front door, staff didn't stop any of this. No noise policy?! I was absolutely furious. We were also given a room right next to building works, as in RIGHT outside the window on the ground floor, we could have shaken hands through the window, we had to close the blind as the builders kept staring in! We weren't warned they were right outside, and we got their cigarette smoke through the window all the time we were there. Hotel accepts absolutely no responsibility as they're just in it for money, so booking gave me 10% back, absolutely ridiculous. They are scam artists, I have never known anything like it. The image attached you can see that's the builder literally right outside.…
