The room I stayed at 204 is clean and plenty of sitting chairs for hanging clothes. Even if the room was facing a major street Cromwell road, it was not noisy at all, the hotel have double pane window. The shower has strong water pressure. It is in a main street and easy to access. I would have given them...

It is important to recognize that the Rockwell is a 40 room hotel with a variety of room styles and will likely elicit a variety of experiences. My wife and I stayed in a garden room for 1 week. Our overall experience was fantastic! Garden rooms face the courtyard and are sheltered from the street noise. The hotel is located...

Less than 10 mins walk from Earls Ct Tube station, close to bus stops too. Our National Express bus stopped very close by so we didn't need to go to Victoria coach station. A boutique hotel ,we had a large room, very comfortable bed ( tiny bathroom ) but clean and quiet. White Company toiletries. Good breakfast, friendly staff. I'd...

Absolutely brilliant. I had previously told them it was my mums birthday and they ensured that there was a lovely bottle of champagne in the room PLUS birthday cake for us both. Very very lovely service, everyone was so friendly from the receptionist, to the barlady and the cleaners!! Room was clean and tidy and perfect for us both. Had...

Excellent location near Earl's Court, V&A, Kensington High St., Holland Park, Design Museum. I had a superior single room for 8 nights. Everything you need: nice towels & linens, air conditioning, in-room safe, coffee/tea maker, comfy bed & pillows. Lots of storage space, phone, & a fridge (not cold enough & couldn't locate dial). Breakfast was included in my rate...

I have stayed at this property 3 times, and it has been excellent every time. Friendly, professional staff, well-appointed comfortable room, and close to the Tube and ood restaurants and museums. It is one of the best hotels at which I have ever stayed, and will stay again when I return to London.

We travel to London regularly and accommodation has always been an issue - overpriced with tiny rooms. Well I'm glad to say our search is over. This place is a gem and I can't see us staying anywhere else in future. The location is fantastic - less then 5 mins walk from Earl's Court Tube station, which, even better, is...

Stayed at Joya Towers South and I'm very impressed with the place and the staff. Very clean and on our last day I left a couple of items and they have kept the items in the Lobby with the information that they found it in our room. Place feels safe with round the clock security and there is a 24...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
