I found this really suitable location to get into town , near Greenwich and Blackheath , reasonable priced and good food. I understand its in the middle of having a make over at the moment , so it will be even better.

Visited this establishment for the first time with some friends, for one it was his local. The staff were excellent and the beer was excellently kept in particular the London Pride. We did not eat but the food that was being served looked excellent and the empty plates verified this! I am going to add this pub to my list... More

Have used this pub regularly over the years but haven't been back for 2 years. As ever the beer was excellent and the service superb. They have now added the "Bar and Grill" at one end of the pub. Very stylish. My wife and I had a superb lunch. Mustn't wait another 2 years before returning.

Stayed at the Summerfield Tavern on 19th and 20th June to visit my Daughter and visit the City. Considering you are not that far from the City the price for Bed & Breakfast is very good. The Breakfast was excellent. CLose to Cutty sark and Greenwich Pier, they will book you a Taxi to these and it only costs £8.50.... More

we stayed here last week in between moving house, and needing a bit of home comfort. Although the room was dated it was clean with nice towels and linen required for a good night sleep. Next to the tavern is a nice polish restaurant, where we enjoyed a late dinner. The best feature (and mentioned by many of the other... More
