Clean hotel, excellent breakfast however they would only unlock the door exactly at the time stated, if you arrive five minutes early you had to wait outside and it was a central location for my needs. Only issue I had was finding the room too hot during my stay.

Short trip to London was made very pleasant here. Really convenient and as it's usual for premier inn, a very comfortable hotel. Breakfast is great (both continental and cooked) and the bed quality is as always top notch.

Stayed here for 2 nights in March, check I'm was smooth and got access to our room early, room was well appointed typical premier inn size, room was clean and good size. This hotel hasn't been upgraded so still the older purple decor but still in good condition. Staff friendly and helpful. Only negative was the quality of the TV...

We booked in advance for a Friday night in March securing a comfortable twin room for £55, breakfast extra. The room was clean and modern, the beds were comfortable. The staff were helpful and were happy to provide extra tea and milk for the room. The shower cubicle was spacious and the shower was good. Breakfast was to a very...

All the usual Premier Inn characteristics apply: great bed, generic decorations, good shower. But the location is the standout for this particular hotel. Really close to a part of London we really hadn't explored before, and only a short walk to the markets at Petticoat and Brick Lane on a gorgeous sunny Sunday morning. Nice, friendly staff, and only the...

Good service, great location and a reasonable price. In a city such as London, it is difficult to find such a combination, especially if you are staying a long time. Only niggle is lack of parking - and nearest car park is very expensive!

From the moment we walked in and asked to check in early to the moment we walked out, after collecting our stores luggage, we experienced staff helpfulness and friendliness. They went out of their way to try and get the two required rooms as close together as possible. The restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and helpful... both evening and morning...

Enjoyed the weekend very much. Travelled around London by bus and on foot, easy access to bus routes, and to the Thames for walking. Did the meal deal...excellent value. Good range of food on the menu. Would be difficult to suggest any more food for the breakfast buffet! Premier bed lived up to the adverts, slept soundly all night. Wi-Fi...

While considerably more expensive than the Travelodge around the corner, our experience with both chains suggests that Premier Inn will be better. Certainly this Tower Hill hotel does pretty much everything right. Check in was handled quickly and friendly, and we were given a room on the first floor. The room was spotless, tasteful and large enough for our two...

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
