Good location for Tower of London and QA training centre. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only had breakfast on one morning but that was good. Evening meal was OK but dining room felt a bit like entering the twilight zone as it was a very quiet and dark basement area. Would stay again.

Well located with decent sized rooms and the trademark comfortable bed. I stayed on the top floor overlooking the road and the noise from traffic was not too bad at all. I certainly got a good night's sleep. Breakfast is excellent, fairly cheap and plentiful. Staff very efficient.

Spent wkend 28/04 to 01/05. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Location very good for Tower Bridge and HMS Bristol. Tower Hill tube station was a 5 min walk away. Beds lovely and comfortable. Room 504 was very quiet as situated on back of hotel. The only thing I could raise issue with is the position of the hairdryer as it was...

Stayed here Easter weekend much prefer the other premier inns one thing that really annoyed me was usually you can open the room window slightly so it is just enough to let some air in.none of the rooms had this at this hotel ,I it got incredibly stuffy when trying to sleep even with the air conditioning on it dried...

Hi Lee, Thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear you were uncomfortable during your visit to the London City (Tower Hill) hotel. Most of the rooms will be incapable of having the windows open as air conditioning is provided and this helps to enhance the effeciency of them. However I can appreciate that this was uncomfortable for you as...

A typical premier inn but with large rooms for central London. Close to Tower Gateway (DLR), Tower Hill and tourist bus and river bus stops. Plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. Some noise from the railway at the back of the hotel - but well muted.

We had a family room here with our two sons of 12 and 15. The room was large enough for four people, very clean and the beds are great. Breakfast is very good and you can eat in the restaurant for just 14,95 for starter/main or main/dessert including one drink. The food in the restaurant was very nice as well....

Having stayed in lots of premier inns without any problems I did find a few negatives with this particular one. Firstly the room was really small, with a tiny window which when you looked out you were faced with very large dumpsters with bags of rubbish over the floor. The bed was not a king size. The bathroom only had...

We stayed for one Night. very helpful staff. The locaton of the Hotel wasn't very nice. A bit of a dingy area. The price was ok for London. We had breakfast in the Weatherspoons across the road. We got the River Bus from Westminster Pier.

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
