I chose this hotel for a one-night stopover to attend a 50th birthday party. As a consequence I spent next to no time in the room, other than to sleep. Everything was clean, the bed was comfy enough and the room had a TV, wardrobe, fridge and en-suite. As a private room it was certainly better than a hostel, for...

Needed a place to sleep after a late night party in London. Although at first glance this hotel does need a real makeover, it offers a safe, clean and comfortable stay in a great location at a bargain price. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the breakfast is simple enough for the price you pay. We had a...

I stayed here last August for an event in Central London - admittedly the hotel is a bit out of the way but for the price I expected that. It's an ideal hotel for if you're on a budget and you only plan to sleep in the hotel. Went inside and receptionist was very welcoming - it cost me £31...

We booked a one night stay after seeing show. On our arrival we were advised both our cards had been declined so had to walk 15 mins to bank to get cash - our cards worked ok everywhere else! Room 22 was probably the worst place we have ever stayed in. It had 3 old single beds, a wardrobe and...

Not to be recommended by or for any self-respecting person! I knew this was going to be very basic so I wasn't really surprised or disappointed but this place could be so much nicer with a refurb and make-over. My single room (with 2 beds) was big enough and included a fridge. The bed had clean sheets and one woollen...

If you are trying to phone someone in the hotel - good luck! I was calling from Northern California to contact a friend who was staying at the B&B (visiting from Australia). It didn't work. The first point of contact is reception. Having been in the travel industry 30 plus years this just doesn't work. Have someone available who does...

Good price-value rate, excellent location in zone 2 (bus stop/underground station is really close). Shops, bars can be reached by a 10-minute walk. Rooms are clear and checked daily. Simple breakfast is good to start your day. Staff is really helpful, no problem in communication and service.

Stayed with a friend over a weekend in July 2015- for a convention at the Kensington Olympia. The hotel was easy enough to find and not too far from the nearest Tube station (about a ten minute walk, with heavy bags). There's a bus stop directly outside the front of the building. It's located in a residential area, with takeaways...

I personally feel the reviews on here don't give this hotel enough credit... From what I gather it is a small family run business who are doing an amazing job.. I have stayed here on many occasions over the past year after studying close by in London, every single time having booked a single room but entering the room with...
