Booked one night for a cheap visit to family. Felt nervous about shared bathroom. On arrival such a warm welcome. Lovely clean room. Shared bathroom IMMACULATE. No concerns whatsoever. Great location. Price was a bargain. Didn't eat breakfast as went out but it smelt good ! This place is a little gem if you on a budget.

We searched for an affordable price with genuine English atmosphere in a nice neighbourhood. Charlotte Guest House certainly lived up to our expectations. The staff seemed happy at their job, friendly nice and helpful. They asked several times if everything was alright and if we needed anything. They helped us with tips about our planned activities, and even to fix tickets... More

Mixed feelings about this place. The staff are very good, very professional and the Guest House is well run. There's a decent breakfast on offer. The Guest House is a number of houses in a street. The welcome was very good and check in efficient and location is good with West Hampstead Thameslink, overground and Jubilee Line stations within a... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here one night when visiting London at short notice. We really wanted the cheapest, best value room we could find so opted for the shared bathroom room deal. I was a bit reserved about having a shared bathroom at first as it seemed a bit like being in a hostel. However, we arrived to a... More

I have stayed in various guest houses in London and I must say that this is one of the cleanest, most comfortable and one with the largest room. Location : It is well situated within 6 mins walk from West Hampstead underground station. It will take you approximately 22 mins to get to Oxford Street (Bond St station) The main... More

PROS: The location of this guest house is very very good. It's close to the train station, tube and overground stations. There's a Tesco nearby and a couple of other small shops and takeaways. In terms of location, it really cannot be faulted. The staff is friendly and helpful and seem to genuinely care. The rooms are clean enough. CONS:... More

We chose this hotel because it was in a good location and very reasonably priced (£75 per night on a weekend including breakfast). Paying so little we didn't expect it to be fantastic but we were proven wrong! The best thing about the stay was that all of the staff are exceptional, friendly and professional, making our stay very pleasant,... More

This guesthouse is in a lovely area on London in West Hamstead, easy access via the tube and train stations into the city. Lovely bars, restaurants and cafes 2 minutes away. The hotel has five different buildings so we were five doors down to the actual reception. Wifi is only available in the reception area until 9.30pm. Breakfast starts at... More

After staying in some amazing B&Bs during this vacation in Scotland and Ireland this pace was big disappointment. All BnBs provide a certain amount of personal touch and care to make your stay comfortable but if and when it wants to shed that to a bigger hotel like place, then it needs more staff to attend to people. Firstly, with... More
