Really disappointing stay, don't be fooled by the photos. Having stayed in other self serviced apartments recently, I wouldn't even put Hyde Park Suites in the same category. It was like entering a bedsit/hostel, but at extortionate prices! Our room was up several flights of stairs and extremely noisy. I had a very poor night's sleep as the air conditioning...

Stayed in a "Superior Double" suite for 4 nights. Room was in a different building to check-in, but only about 200m away on same street. Other than minor issue (no iron and no cover on ironing board) which was quickly resolved after ringing reception, was a good stay. Decent-sized room, mildly whiffy en-suite, comfortable bed, no view (but there isn't...

This place is dreadful, very misleading pics on-line. The room I was given was bare, badly finished and just about clean. The whole building felt like it was a halfway house and the front door to the room had clearly been broken into at one point, the frame had been badly repaired and the lock was damaged. I couldn't lock...

The Hyde Park Suites..... Sounds fantastic, the reality is so much different . Location aside everything else is average to poor. Ourselves a family of 5 met up with friends a family of 4 and had 2 apartments in house 81. Our apartment was freezing cold as the central heating was not working, it was ridiculously noisy, the bedding was...

It would have been a better stay if you slept on the street outside. Disgusting pillows mattress floors. The bathroom sinks of sewage which then fills the room. I have stayed in backpackers hostel for £8 a night the are better than this hole. Please pay no attention to hotel own pics looks nothing like it

The location is quite good. It is definitely not an apartment more like a bedsit. the heating never worked and the water was a trickle for a shower. Stay away from this company, for the price it was a rip off.

Booked a few months in advance as wanted a central apartment. The room was tiny, no space at all to do anything or put anything anywhere. The room stunk of cigarette smoke. It was extremely clean though, and the rooms must have had upgrades as they were well fitted out. Wouldn't rush back, as it was extremely noisy

Well I must admit I wasn't looking forward the stay at Hyde Park suites due to the reviews on trip advisor I was optimistic. Walked into house 34 huge hallway, very quiet started walking upstairs with suitcase as there was NO lift poor really not good for someone with a disability. Our room was up flights of stairs on thread...

This hotel is so very basic - It's kind of shabby and outdated, no air con and it's just exactly what we expected for the price. The price to stay here is so cheap considering where it is, so it's not going to be that nice. Our room was clean but everything is just outdated. We only stayed here for...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
