we only went here for Sunday lunch as it had been recommended, the service was very poor and none of the staff seem to smile including who I assume was the manager. The food itself was mediocre. Not a place I would use again

we stayed here last may bank holiday weekend ,there were people of all ages here enjoying food or drinks so it was lively on entrance and for the duration but the hotel side is partialy seprate from the main pub side doors which was good....More
This place is the lowest of the lows. Dirty, mouldy, unmaintained. If these was nowhere else to sleep, I'd rather stay in my car. There are 11 hotels in Middlesbrough on here, have a look around, I'm sure there's somewhere else you could stay.
Overall the room was nice, there was a few rough edges but the bed was comfy and the shower was great. The food in the restaurant was tasty (Middlesbrough's famous Parmo!! and a cooked breakfast) however the staff could have been better. Check-in wasn't welcoming...More
