I spent a pleasant 3 nights here at the end of February 2017. Check-in was efficient and the single room without facilities was quite small but nevertheless very adequate - the bathroom was shared with just one adjacent double, which wasn't occupied at all whilst I was there, and so had exclusive use thereof. The bed was comfortable but the...

On arrival things seemed fine. Pleasant welcome and nice enough room, although only had a clothes airer on the wall for hanging clothes. We went out to visit family for the evening and a phone call from a cousin who had also booked in here asked if we could swap rooms as although she and a family friend had reserved...

Outdated B and B average food and location, far from downtown., very clean but not helpful about places to go, etc. all rooms too near to each other, cannot make much noise. a bit pricey can get something cheaper in a hotel with own facilities.

I stayed here for work purposes in June 2016, the bed unfortunately, for me, was very hard. It comes down to preference I'm aware of that but when I told the owners they were very very displeased !!. I been had asked what I would like for breakfast the night before, by the man owner and I said I would...

We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. Once we found it was as expected. A lovely old dwelling beautifully kept. We had an upstairs room which although lovely, as the stairs were steep and no hand rail all the way up, was quite a challenge for me personally to to. The floors also really creaked! Breakfast was lovely but...

I chose this B&B based on price and a chance to move slightly out of the city as I thought it would be relaxing. Overall, the room was lovely and the hosts provide a personal breakfast based on your order. It really is very nice and very English; an old-fashioned bed and breakfast you might say. However, the location is...

This is a perfectly nice place to stay, the room was ok, the bathroom across the corridor was ok, the breakfast room was ok. Breakfast was ok, but involved tinned tomatoes and margerine instead of fresh tomatoes and butter. Ugh. My only objection was being asked to pay on arrival, using a debit card not a credit card and the...

Nice clean and comfortable room. Decent sized shower room with nice big fluffy towels. Super breakfast and mine host was very sociable. Only one "problem" is you really need a car to get there if you want to go out to eat in the evening. There are however, facilities in the dining room for guests to use such as microwave...

This B&B could not have been better placed for my work. It was clean and quiet. The bedroom had a double bed and the shower and toilet across the corridor, which was ok for me, which was shown in the reasonable price. The full English breakfast was hot and filling. A pleasant stay.

After receiving reservation confirmation from Booking.com, the hotel contacted us to say they were full. The attitude was very poor over two phone calls, even sarcastically saying they can't put a tent in the garden. I appreciate they have been full for some time, but the hotel benefits from Booking.com business and so a more helpful and understanding response would...
