Took my wife , my cousin and his partner who were visiting from Yorkshire. As this was the first time I had been for a meal with him in 50 years may I say everything was superb. Food drinks service excellent . Could not fault anything. As this is my local the landlord is rubbish lol xx

Thank you so much for your review! I'm so glad you enjoy using the pub & we love having you visit! I accept your comments about the rubbish landlord you'd think after being here 38 years I'd know what I was doing! 😂

Went for dinner here last week and everyone said how much better it was. I ate here in June and March and it was poor. (Very limited places to go with children in Sprowston so we try again). But meal was very very good this time. I had the goats cheese pastry. Manager at bar and the man that serves...

Due to business I stay at various levels of accomodation throughout England. This was a weekday overnight stay. Ample parking, checking into the room I was met with smart, pleasant staff and shown to my room personally. My room was spacious, very clean and crisp white bed linen. Evening meal I was spoilt for choice (including gluten free options) and...

We had a lovely meal with good choices on the menu; for us especially choosing the granny portion which was still more than adequate! At the time we visited there were plenty of seats, some in a lovely conservatory. There is also a really nice garden, which I'm sure is enjoyed by families. Staff really helpful. Parking available

Having visited this pub a number of years ago didnt know what to expect . Seemed fairly busy . Quite a big menu but over priced for pub grub. Food was ok but nothing special. Delicious ice cream sundae though.

Stayed on a Tuesday night, had lunch when I arrived. I had a ploughmans , never had such a succulent array of wonderful tasting food, that filled the large plate. A lot of the contents of this food was home made. My accommodation was clean, light, airy and very comfy. The amenities were good too. Excellent very white sheets and...
