We had a 3 night stay at the Lansbury last weekend and could not have asked for a more perfect accomodation. The location was great, a short walk to centre of Whitby and all it's amenities, harbour, shops, pubs and resturants. We booked a superior kingsize room and were not disappointed, it was tastefully decorated and the shower was second...

We stayed 4 nights at this guest house. There is absolutely nothing not to like. Jill and Chris and team make sure your stay is so comfortable and breakfasts were absolutely the best we've had in a B&B. Everything was so clean and nothing any trouble. Room decor was beautiful and a credit to the owners. We would recommend this...

Stayed at Chris and Jills' for 2 nights over the August Bank Holiday weekend, and could have stayed for longer - very reasonable prices! The rooms were bright and cheerful, and the couple made us very welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was very good with the choice up to the individual if you didn't want the 'full english' -...

On arrival very friendly greeting and the room was spotlessly clean with a well stocked refreshement tray and good quality complimentary toilitries in the modern bathroom. The Lansbury is centrally situated for Whitby, maybe a 5 minute walk from the harbour. Street parking is difficult, when you find a parking space it pays to leave your car there ( free of charge )The rooms were immaculate also the bathrooms. The downside however was that breakfast was served on cold plates ! Also what you ordered for breakfast...
