This year 2009 will be the 5th year in a row that we have stayed with Jill and Chris for the folk week. They are a really freindly couple and the Landsbury is second to none in the way of accommodation. Good location for all ammenities, lovely breakfast, spotlessly clean. If I had to critisize that would be the smallness...

Ive been staying at the Lansbury for many years now, twice a year, and it just keeps getting better and better. The owners have put a lot of hard work into the place, and it shows. You couldnt ask for a cleaner place to stay. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms are clean and there is Freeview TV in all...

We arrived at the guest house and were promptly greeted by the very friendly owner. She showed us to our room on the top floor, which was spotlessly clean and had a decent sized, also spotless, ensuite bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was just what we needed to set us up for the day, with tea, coffee...

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in August. Maybe we expected too much after other B&Bs we have stayed but this is what we felt. Good points - nice ground floor room, which however looked out over the back yard. Good shower room which looked as though it was fairly new. Nice comfortable King bed with nice bed...

If on booking your room you had asked weather it was front or back facing, you could have been relocated to another room. As you never stipulated it could not be rectified. Most people prefer a comfy chair to watch t.v. in on an evening, not those small thin wooden ones. There is ample room to walk around the room,...

I booked the lansbury for the regatta weekend through the net, the guest house was excellent, rooms were en suite and spotless. within walking distance to the harbour would definitely stop here again.

Immaculate rooms and a fantastic breakfast, this b&b is in a great location just minutes from the spa pavilion and the town centre, about a five minute walk to the Met bar. This b&b is goth friendly for goth weekends also!
