Stayed here unexpectedly overnight when our planned accommodation was not available. Simon and Jen opened specially to accommodate our party of 17 and could not have been more helpful, in no time everyone had comfortable rooms and a warm lounge to enjoy. Breakfast was outstanding with a wide choice and a perfectly cooked 'Full English'. Simon and Jenny made suggestions...

Our 2nd time staying here, and again, not a fault to be found. Top floor room with side window overlooking the bay was a tad smaller than the room we had last time, but that was no major hardship. Simon and Jenny are lovely hosts, nothing too much trouble at all for them, and as for the breakfast, well don't...

Stayed here with my 7year old. Big comfortable room, bathroom was tiny tho with nowhere really to put your toiletries, maybe another shelf would have been useful? Great beds, lovely buffet type breakfast with good quality produce. Good location near the Whalebone arch. Pleasant hosts. A lot of seagull noise pretty much all night while we were there in the...

Stayed for 2 nights last weekend. Had room 4 - spacious with large double and single beds ensuite. Breakfast was excellent both mornings with full choice of both continental and "full english" - best bacon I've eaten in a long time. Friendly staff and well-located near West Cliff - what more could we ask for.

Simon is such a friendly guy. Nothing was too much trouble and he's a mine of information. Excellent, hot shower, really comfortable bed, superb breakfast buffet. And it's really easy to walk into the centre, five mins tops (it's up a short hill but so is everywhere in Whitby) but still very peaceful. Very reasonable too. We loved it!
