Lovely B&B situated on west cliffs overlooking the sea a 5 -10 minute walk into harbour (depending on how fast you walk ) to find great quirky shops pubs and restaurants Can't say enough good things about whitby !! Or owners of the Riviera gust house great accommodation and choice of breakfast which was very tasty and well cooked plenty...

We've stopped at many places in Whitby over the years but the Riviera Guest House is a step above the rest. In a fantastic location, 5 minutes walk to the harbour and fantastic views looking over the sea front. The hosts were fantastic and very helpful. What a gem of a find. Never stayed in Whitby as an adult before so after reading reviews we choose The Riveria. We had a top floor room with gorgeous views and the room was nearly decorated. Stayed here for the second time on a short break with my daughter over half term week.very friendly family run guesthouse.good location central for all attractions.excellent views.breakfasts delicious as always with plenty of choice.would not hesitate to return again in the future

Stayed for one night, 26th Feb. Had a standard room on 3rd floor (no lift, but fine for us). Lovely room, sea view and sea view from bathroom too! Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, all good. We stayed for one night, in one of the top floor bedrooms. I wish we could have stayed for longer. The bedroom was gorgeous and perfect for us. Wasn't so big, and neither too small. Perfect size so that we could spend the time we needed to in there, and then could get out to see the sights. Let's be...

We had a one night stay wish it was longer, room was lovely the staff were very friendly. Fab breakfast and lots of choices Great location We managed to park right outside free of charge as it was out of season

I won a Free valentine break for 2 days at this lovely guesthouse via Facebook and i would have happily paid for the privilege, not been to Whitby for years but forgot how beautiful it was.
