Easily one of the best pubs in Whitby. Great views, service amazing. Everyone welcome. Such a lovely place to be. A mix of locals and tourists that works very well. Need to try the food next time as the menu looks gorgeous!!
Booked a one night stay at this wonderful tavern, arrived to a warm welcome, rooms are spacious, clean and have everything needed, including breakfast basket.
Stayed for a lovely lunch of fresh sandwiches , fish n chips & drinks before heading off into town.

What a lovely place this is. Good beer, friendly staff and great food. Ate here on two consecutive nights, we can thoroughly recommend the chicken skewers and mixed grill!
The staff are friendly and accommodating and there's a good mix of locals and trippers.
Went here almost 4yrs ago and boy has it changed and gladly for the better refurbished and revamped now with a large upstairs bar and restaurant great menu and great quality food and service. Real ales and the usual draft beers and cheaper than right...More
