Jill is lovely. Breakfast delicious. Room spacious and bathroom beautiful... a few stains on bedspread but it was laundered... some stains just remain I guess.. nothing turning the light off didn't cure! 😁 It was great for the money and our one night stay. Recommended. Thanks Jill. Red. X

The Joben guest house is in an ideal location. Jill was lovely and very helpful and the room was cosy and clean. The only downside was the tea/coffee facilities, the mugs were full of dust and the milk cartons were out of date so we couldnt have a drink in our room. The bed wasnt made nor the room cleaned...

Whitby itself was just lovely and we want to go again next year everyone was so incredibly friendly and helpful. We went to the Abbey which is beautiful especially at night when its all illuminated it was fanastic. The food was...

Possibly the cutest place I've ever stayed! Bit of a struggle to find but got there in the end! We stayed in the superior room, it was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bed was excellent. Facilities were amazing, first time I've been provided with straighteners! The bathroom was also lovely, really big and clean, although there was no shower....

The guest house is well located- just a few minutes from the harbour. Our room had a separate bathroom and I was concerned about privacy. But the bathroom was just for us and only across the way. The bathroom was lovely and the bed was comfy. All very clean. Full English served both mornings and landlady, Jill, was extremely friendly...

Nice, friendly place to stay. Large and well equipped room, more than adequate for our needs. Good selection of cereals, toast and a nice cooked breakfast, only improvement would be better quality coffee.

Went for a quick overnight stay here and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. This was lke staying at your favourite Aunties house. Lovely comfortable room and spotlessly clean. Pubs within 1 minutes walking distance. Jo was such a warm and welcoming host and her breakfasts were delicious. We will DEFINITELY be back again soon.
