Stayed in the Hayloft. Warm, cosy, unique. All the buildings, dry stone walls and courtyards are sensitively and authentically maintained. You really are staying at an original Dales Farmhouse, while enjoying all the things you need for a very comfortable 21st century stay. Sandra and Tom are the couple who welcome you to their interesting home, and as you'd expect,...

We had 3 nights with our 4 and 2 year old boys. Ideal location with loads to see on the farm and a great base for exploring the North Yorkshire coast. Sandra and Tom were great attentive hosts, thanks for a great few days and a delicious breakfast each morning!

We booked The Old Sheaf Store for a week in October, attracted to the farm and unique decor we were not disappointed on arrival. Down the stone driveway alondside chickens to the parking area (plenty) which sits to the side of the cottages, really easy access to unload bags. Sandra, one of the owners greeted me so warmly at her...

Stayed here on coast to coast. Very friendly hosts, welcomed with tea and biscuits into conservatory. Old building with lots of character, pictures, furniture etc. Down side was a walk of about a mile to the local pub for a meal which after 19 miles felt a little daunting. Breakfast was good.

Red House Farm is sort of hidden away down a wee nook but you'll be pleasantly surprised to find it a rather lovely old building which has been lovingly looked after by its current owners. Our host welcomed us into the conservatory with a coffee and biscuits and asked us to feel free to take off our boots and relax....

Loved this place from the moment we arrived and were served homemade blueberry muffins with tea / coffee. Karen (the hostess) was friendly, welcoming and full of useful tips. We were due to go to a concert and Karen had even worked out the start time and was helpful with some places to eat beforehand. There is a great pub...
