Didn't stay at the hotel so this review is for the restaurant, great service and a lovely meal, my steak was cooked to perfection!!! I would definitely recommend the marine hotel for service, food and superb views across the harbour.

Visited here a couple of times whilst staying in Whitby for a long weekend - beautiful food, great service, large selection of wines and spirits. Yes it is more expensive that most restaurants in Whitby, but it's worth the premium - the restaurant has a lunch menu which is competitively priced. Live piano playing and singing on an evening -...

Myself and a friend went on Friday evening for a meal. It was really good. The starter of salmon - which we shared was good but seemed a little meagre on it's own so we asked for some bread. We chose the Soda bread which came warm. My Salmon and the accompanying sauce was absolutely delicious (At £19) and chef...

I've been here a good few times last year and just come back this weekend after raving about the food all year! It was just as good as I remember! Very cheap for how good it is and a brilliant location!

My husband and myself spent a weekend here. The Hotel looked great on the website and I was keen to get away for a few days. The hotel is right in the middle of everything, a great location most might think. There is no double glazing in room 3 and you can hear everything that is going on. Sleep was...

We stayed at the marine, in room 2, a couple of weeks ago. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious and the room was comfortable. Our only complaint would be that the tv was difficult to use and the reception received was not great, we like to chill in front of the tv after...

We enjoyed our stay here. the staff were really friendly and the rooms immaculately clean. The rooms are tastefully furnished however a couple of things were strange - our room had no chest of drawers to put any clothes in. There was a wardrobe but it did seem odd not have drawers. The room was also slightly noisy as it...

We love the Marine Hotel Bar. It's a nice spot to sit and have a few cocktails or beers while soaking up the lovely atmosphere. The Bellini's are very tasty, great quality champagne and nice mixes and great value for money. Would definitely recommend.
