Astonishing value for an enormous family room and breakfast, the hostel is in a beautiful elevated location next to whitby abbey, 5 mins (and quite a lot of steps) walk from town. Staff were super helpful and welcoming. Whitby is a great town too.

We had a lovely stay thanks. The double bed in our room needs a new mattress - apart from that we had a brill time. We love Whitby and it is really spooky when you come back and it's dark especially up the 199 steps.

Hello the steps themselves are quite shallow and with a handrail so if you anybody of average fitness shouldn't struggle - just take your time and enjoy the views! Alternatively, there is a car park on the headland and local... More
