This was the second year we have stayed at the Haven for the NYMR war weekend, we found our hosts very welcoming again and our stay very enjoyable. The war weekend was brilliant with all stations made to look 40s, Brilliant.

My son and new daughter in law were given this trip as a little break while they wait for their big honeymoon to Australia in June next year. They absolutely loved their break and stevie and Chris made sure they were well looked after even treating them to a bottle of champagne. Thank you so much for looking after them

Location is exactly what we wanted, close to the harbour with a view of the castle. Excellent breakfast to start the day. Free wifi was a bonus. Have already recommended to friends and family. Don't let this little gem go by.

This is a bit difficult as the current owner is retiring very shortly. We were greeted by moans and groans of feeling tired and under pressure - understandable as they are packing up to move but guests have come to relax! Room was fine and the breakfast very nice. We wish the current owners a very happy retirement and the... More

Greeting poor - host could not remember the booking. Room adequate, but too many restriction notices - remove make up not to soil the bedsheets, no room for mobile phones at breakfast etc. Television not working in room. Breakfast greasy.

We loved listening to the seagulls laying in bed. Breakfast was fantastic, room and bathroom nice, tidy and clean. The parking permit was very helpful. Chris and Stevie are absolutely lovely. Worth every Penny, we would love to come back!

We have stayed in quite a few guest houses in Whitby over the years, and the Haven is definitely up there with the best of them. Excellent location, beautiful clean bedroom, and wonderful friendly hosts.

Firstly, the views from our room (#1) were stunning - right across the harbour to the sea. This B&B is decorated in a classical style - certainly the vast array of ornaments make it stand out.. We found the need to pre-book our breakfast choices the night before a little regimented, but you won't be disappointed by the quality of... More
