Very friendly. Room was clean and well stocked with tea and biscuits. No breakfast available here but being right in the heart of the town there are numerous places to find something to eat. En suite was clean and plenty of hot water. Don't come expecting 5 star. This isn't what this place is about. If you want to pay... More

Great down to earth accommodation right in the heart of the main (old town) street. It is definitely accommodation with a difference, clean but lived in, it is great, you have to stay there to appreciated it. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming and just left you to get on with it. Loads of shops, restaurants and cafe's on... More

Nothing is standard about Kika's. Do not expect sterile Travelodgeicity. Do anticipate traditional budget accommodation in the heart of everything. No breakfast available but lots of cafes just footsteps away. Unlimited tea and biscuits at any hour. Parking is an issue as everywhere in downtown Whitby but 2-4 day permits can be bought at the Tourist Information centre by the... More

Once again have had a great time in Whitby, helped by knowing we have great accommodation. Very central, very quirky and very nice! Nothing is a problem for Veronica and she will try her best to sort out what you need and want. Have stayed with my husband and also with friends. Will be going back as soon as possible.

The up side was the location.Parking was a problem but managed to get a 24 hour car park only ten minutes away from the room. The down side was the cleanliness of the room . Veronica actually wiped the dust of the top of the TV and said pretend you haven't seen this !! The bedding hadn't been changed it stunk... More

We stayed at whitby for the first time. This place was really nice. Cheap and cheerful. We stayed in a family room in the third floor. Veronica was really lovely. Had a lovely time and would stay there again

It's right in the centre of old town which is perfect in terms of location; utterly quaint and central to everything. It's literally a door on the shop front (no real sign to identify it, so keep a keen eye out when looking for it!). The place itself is very homely; it's 2 or 3 stories above the shops so... More

Had a nice double room en suite on second floor with tea and coffee facilities, great value and location, just left alone to enjoy our short break. Colourful room with eclectic mix of furnishings. In centre of town so only 40 minute parking best to leave car in long term car park which is only £6.00 for 24 hours.

wasn't expecting much for the price so wasn't to disappointed with the room, the decor could have been a bit nicer on the eyes (purple &yellow) but overall the room was ok. The bed was comfy with clean bedding the en suite was clean but again it was a deep purple colour. The landing area could have been less messy,... More
