Stayed here for my final night on the coast to coast. I was debating to stay here or at Grosmont. I'm happy with my choice! I got a warm welcome when I arrived which is always nice after a long day walking. The camping spot was sheltered, flat, and the grass was unusually comfortable. It's really a B&B that lets...

My wife did the C2C. This place was fun. It is a working cattle farm, a calf was born shortly after we arrived. So, as a working farm, and a place where people actually live and work from it is lived in and the house is a bit messy. We didn't mind as the room was clear and efficient. To...

Arrived to a warm welcome and offered tea in the kitchen. Judith had a kind way about her. Our twin room had no ensuite and we shared a bathroom down the hall with another guest. It is a working farm, complete with animal noises and smells, as the barn was just outside the yard. Dinner was offered and served family...

If you like farms, friendly welcoming hostess, coffee and big slices of homemade cake, this is the place! During our C2C walk we got the opportunity to stay with Judith and her husband and really enjoyed it. Learning about the history of the farm was fascinating. We enjoyed Judith's cooking-dinner, breakfast and of course the cakes. When we left she...

You'd be hard pushed to find a warmer welcome - even though we stayed in some lovely places along the C2C route, and met some fantastic hosts, Judith wins the award for the loveliest of the lot. We were greeted with pots of tea and home-made flap-jacks before being shown to our very big, very comfortable rooms. Intake Farm is...

My wife and I stayed here a week ago when we were walking the Coast to Coast trail. Upon meeting Judith, we were immediately put at ease by her warmth and hospitality. She sat us down at her kitchen table and gave us a cup of tea. We felt like part of her family. The bedroom was super spacious and...

We enjoyed one night with Judy and Robert as our hosts at Intake Farm. Her home cooked meal for our 3 couples plus a genuine desire to to make us feel at home meant that we could really relax before our final walk to Robin Hoods Bay. We supplemented our dinner with wine we brought with us which Judy gladly...

A final break before the end of the Coast 2 Coast turned out to be one of the best stays of the walk. Very warm welcome to this delightful home on a working farm . Very comfortable room and beds and nothing seemed too much trouble for our host Judith. Dinner needs to be organised beforehand as there is no...

On our recent Coast to Coast walk, we chose to stay at Intake Farm in Littlebeck so that we could savor the last 11-mile walk into Robin Hood's Bay. We were a party of 3, our son having joined us for the last two days of walking. We occupied two bedrooms so that the bathroom across the hall was effectively...

We were made to feel welcome at this working farm. Tea and cake revived us after a long walk during our Coast to Coast trip. Comfortable rooms in this family home are simple but just what we needed. We enjoyed a delicious roast dinner served by our hosts with everybody loving the Yorkshire puddings! Breakfast was delicious and we said...
