Ours was a last minute decision to go to Whitby for the night, from the minute we arrived nothing too much trouble for the owners, made you feel welcome from the minute you opened the door. Room comfortable well decorated and clean, breakfast very hearty, in fact a bit too much for me! Go on book you will not be... More

We stayed at The Seacliffe Hotel for 3 nights, having booked a front room with bay window & sea views. We were greeted at the door on a very rainy afternoon by a very busy/stressed out lady (we were a little early however & although we knew our room may not be ready we didn't think they would mind us... We stayed at the Seacliffe Hotel over the May bank holiday & had a lovely stay. There is parking at the front of the hotel which is great as they charge for parking on the road. Check in took minutes. Our room was no 19, at the back of the hotel but a lovely room, spotlessly clean, quiet & the... More

We booked this hotel following trip advisor review information. The room was clean, comfortable; staff were polite and courteous; breakfast was delish and well presented. The hotel is central in Whitby and overlooks the beach/sea. We'll worth a visit and great value for money.

We have just spent a lovely weekend in Whitby staying at The Seacliffe. There were 6 couples in our party. We were there to celebrate a 70th birthday. The hotel was clean. The rooms were not large but were ok for a couple of nights. We found the owner and staff to be friendly and helpful. Overall we were happy... More

Stayed for a couple of days, found it to be comfortable and owners friendly. Situated about half a mile from the centre of Whitby, the view of the sea from room 3 made the stay for my wife all the better. Would highly recommend! Situated where it is makes it an ideal place to use as a base for exploring... More

After a disasterous last minute cancellation in January for my partners birthday by a hotel up the road due to a change in management I looked around for an alternative place to stay that would allow a dog... I came across the Seacliffe and booked for March. The person I spoke to on the phone to book was very helpful,... More

Then I end up paying an extra 2.25pound for chips which should have been with the meal. was from a freezer and the fish crougons was not crougons at all but something from a box which was thrown into old oil.
