We stayed here with two friends for a lovely mid week break.. We couldn't fault the staff on any level from the moment we arrived. Our rooms were executive , ours having a small balcony but the room itself was a little cramped, with only one chair..the bathroom however, was huge.. Our friends had a much larger room and smaller...

We stayed in a three bedroomed cottage. It was exceptionally well furnished and in a beautiful setting. All the rooms were beautifully laid out with very high quality furniture and all the cooking / dining equipment you could need. It really was stunningly beautiful, very, very posh. It was cleaned daily with fresh towels left each day. A turn down...

Recently stayed at the beautiful Raithwaite Estate as a little break with my husband. The grounds are superb! In my opinion the nicest hotel in Whitby I'm stunned it isn't at the top spot. Received a very warm greeting and were shown to our room in the main building. The room was spotless with refreshments and a large bathroom with...

Stayed here for one night over the Easter break, the hotel is lovely, modern and clean. We had an executive room and it was very spacious, the turn down service was nice touch and we received a bag of little Easter eggs which was very nice. We had dinner at the hunters bar which was very nice and there was...

Stopped over for 3 nights, stayed just down from the main reception in room 403, so no distance at all to walk, and managed to park the car just round the corner, so worked out very well. The rooms seem slightly odd as the bedroom is upstairs with a lounge and bathroom downstairs, but very comfortable. Stayed for dinner one...

My friend and I stayed one night on the Luxury for Less deal and were very pleased overall with our stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we felt royally treated. From the concierge parking our car at check-in to returning it to us at check-out we felt cared for and welcomed. The club room we stayed in...

Just returned from here and overall a very decent place. It all looks very new so will be interesting to see what happens several years down the line. We had to walk a fair distance in the rain/wind to get to main door but very friendly welcome. We had a lovely room on the first floor which had a strange...
