8 couples from our family enjoyed a great weekend in Whitby we all arrived various times in the day no problem at all on check in ,plenty of parking if not in hotel they provided permits to park on road opposite hotel ,rooms lovely and clean all en-suite tea or coffee or hot chocolate provided in room , small but...

Room was very dusty. As there is a quick turnover, rooms are only quickly cleaned and not thoroughly. Owners always rushing....no time for guests. Breakfast was just average....breakfast waitress would just plonk your food/ drinks in front of you. A daily room clean just consists of a squirt of toilet cleaner in pan.

Hi Jono We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us.I do remember about the brown bread and do apologize , this does not happen often. Your comments Not first floor....too many comings and goings.Again this is a 1928 year old building with limit's to what we can change with all the crazy legislation we have to...

Our first impressions of The Wheeldale was that it was in a great location; right on the sea front, but away from the noise. Inside we were greeted by a sleeping cat, and checked in by a slightly sullen teen from whom we got the impression he didn't want to be there, but I suppose that's teenagers for you. We...

It is well located with great sea views about 10-15 minutes walk from town centre. Rooms are comfortable. It was great having the separate lounge area above the bedroom as 4 of us were staying and it meant we could sit and have a drink together

I had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and found it good so I booked for this stay. It did not seem to be as good this time. There is quite a bit of noise from the water system whenever taps or showers are run. The room was a bit 'tired', especially the bathroom. The shower was excellent....

Stayed for one night over the recent week-end. Lovely warm accomodation with a sea view. Our room was medium sized with a comfy bed, TV with Sky and free wi-fi. The bathroom had a very efficient shower and complementary toiletries. There was a tea and coffee tray. Downstairs there is a comfy sitting room and bar area with an honesty...

Lovely bed and breakfast with stunning views and friendly team. We stayed in room 8 which was homely and very comfortable. The only downside to the stay was there wasn't a bath but this is just our personal preference and not a dig at the Management (it did have a very large shower). We also managed to spend some time...

This hotel was ideal for us.We used the free parking permit to park right outside the hotel and walk into Whitby so hardly used car.We noticed parking in town centre can be difficult and expensive so this was useful. We had room 6 which has both a bedroom with shower and separate toilet and also an upstairs TV lounge with sea...

I'm unsure how this was classified as an Hotel, its not dissimilar to the many B&B's in Whitby. The room we had was excellent, nice bed, decor good, shower very good, overall very good experience. Parking available, though you may get blocked in so don't pretend you weren't warned.
