Booked originally for 4 days, but had to leave 1 day early for work commitments. Host made us welcome and was pleasant during our stay. I did not read the T & C's and had to pay for our full stay. Not happy about that, but that's life.Would recommend as the hotel is clean and tidy. Hope this helps

Another stay here, another friendly welcome. Great breakfast featuring local produce. Nice room (Scoresby), clean, everything I needed, en suite very small but functional. Good value, I've said Thai before but this is a great b&b. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Rooms and toilets are clean. We had a family room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds on the top floor. No lift but that was ok. Owners are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was too good and many varieties.

Close to the town centre but far enough away to get a peaceful nights sleep. We booked for an overnight stay through booking.com there was a mix up with the booking at first when we initially wanted a double room, we had a quick response from the hotel to resolve the problem after sending an email which was good. we... Our family stayed at this hotel for two nights during Whitsun week. We arrived late morning, parked outside the hotel, went in to let them know it was our car in the car park, expecting to check-in later, but Scott met us, made us very welcome, checked our rooms, one was ready and we were able to leave all luggage... Short stay Friday to Sunday on arrival nowhere to park my husband had to drop me off then go and park in the centre which cost £5.00 until the evening when we could move it to park nearer to the hotel< we were under the impression there was a bar which there is but after 9pm you have to ring... This was our first visit to Whitby and it was made even more memorable by staying here. The family room we stayed in was a really good size, with everything we needed. The breakfast was one of the nicest I have ever had, and were made to feel so welcome by the owner. I would definitely recommend staying here, one... More

A warm welcome, beautiful rooms, clean, light and airy, plus (according to my husband) the best Veggie Breakfast in Whitby! This was our fourth visit to the Arundel, and we were not disappointed. The family-run hotel is clean and modern, with large rooms and views over Pannett Park. The town centre is a ten-minute stroll down the hill, or you... More

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights over the May bank holiday weekend. Hotel was on a busy noisey roundabout. On arrival I had to run into the hotel to check in as there was nowhere around the hotel to park my partner had to wait in the car. We spent half an hour trying to find somewhere. The room... More

Dear Mrs Davidson Firstly let me apologise for what seems to have been a poor experience with ourselves at Arundel House. We do pride ourselves on being able to offer an excellent service as you will see from our other reviews on Trip Advisor. It is completely unacceptable to find a towel in your room and we are truly sorry... More

A very nice Guest House, clean, well run, lovely breakfasts (in the beautiful dining room), and with very accommodating owners. It will be my first choice to stay when returning. My room had a wonderful view of the Abbey ruins in the distance, up on the headland. The Guest House is just across from Pannett Park, and if you wish... More
