Everything about this guest house is brilliant. Brian and Abby are charming hosts and have lots of recommendations of things to do and places to visit. The rooms are full of thoughtful ideas for a great stay; they even have silent fridges so nothing disturbs you in the night. The view from the front rooms is of the sea, harbour...

Over recent years I have stayed at various other guesthouses in Whitby but none of them can match the luxury I found at Seaview. I was particularly impressed with the spaciousness of both my room and the breakfast room but there were so many other features at Seaview that made my stay in Whitby so pleasurable. There were 3 quite...

Really friendly hosts and a superb breakfast including Whitby Kippers. We had lovely views of the sea and the Abbey from our room. Brian's homemade parkin left in the room along with biscuits and fresh fruit were a real treat. Well worth a visit.

Sea View at Whitby is more than the 'name on the tin': the sea view is indeed framed in a wide vista from the front windows and the dining room, with views up the hill to the ruined Abbey from this charming guest house. It's a spotlessly clean, tidy and well maintained property. Our sea-facing room was big with comfortable...

I have just returned from a lovely weekend at this fantastic guest house! Upon arrival we were greeted by the owners who were not quite ready however we were there early. Despite this we were made to feel comfortable after a long journey and one of the owners told us where to eat/explore in the area. I was with my...

Brian and Abby have certainly got it right here. From the fresh milk, fruit bowl, and water in the fridge in your room to Brian's Parkin to have with your tea - by the way I didn't really like Parkin until I tasted this!. We had a room with a fantastic view over the harbour and the abbey along with...
