We stayed at the Whitehaven for two nights. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. It's a very well maintained and clean property. The bedroom was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was hot and freshly made and was very tasty. We had a full English breakfast both days. Simon, the owner does all the decorating himself and it really is a credit to him -absolutely flawless!! Our room was very comfortable and we could not have wanted... More

Excellent Guest house, 5 minutes walk into centre, slight up-hill walk back. Very clean rooms, all you need for a short stay. Nothing is too much trouble, just have to ask and Simon or Lane will try there best to help. Breakfast very good, we would definitely stay there again.
