Stayed here now 3 times, which in itself proves how good this guesthouse is. comfy beds, spacious rooms, free Wi-Fi throughout, well kept and presented by the host. Close to York in a quiet village away from the hustle and bustle. Great breakfast, tea and coffee facilities in the rooms along with local home made biscuits.

Really lovely, friendly B&b finished to a high standard. Couldn't be more helpful and amazing breakfast with homemade jam and freshly squeezed juice. We stayed in the super King room with a huge comfy bed. Definitely recommend as a relaxed retreat if you are looking for one.

The Bankfield is a quiet, well furnished B&B that is convenient for York and the surrounding area. The welcome was friendly and the breakfast great. We stayed just one night but would have been happy to stay longer.
