Stayed here for 2 nights - had a lovely room. Breakfast was one of the nicest cooked English breakfast we have ever had. Friendly welcome, convenient to York centre, parking easy. Pickle and Tabbetha both welcoming and friendly cats too Finishing extra touches are a lovely touch too - fruit cake in room. We would definitely stay here again

Possibly the most caring b and b I have ever stayed in. Little touches like a full range of toiletries, home made cake and sherry in the rooms and fresh towels every day, coupled with the owner's advice and knowledge made this a most enjoyable stay

Dear EEWAN I am so pleased you enjoyed your 50th birthday bash in York....and the start of the St Nicholas Xmas Fair. And the weather stayed good as well - because as you know it hardly ever rains in York:). I wish you a wonderful birthday this week...and a very Happy Christmas to you all!

I stayed two nights in a room with a beautiful view of gardens. Booking was easy and Kim sent me a York brochure with a map where she had marked how to walk from the rail station. Perfect! Neighborhood is quiet and pretty. Located 10 minutes walk to minster/town. I was warmly welcomed upon arrival. Loved my room. Bathroom modern....

This was our third stay at Arnot House, and the second with Kim and Ann. We greatly enjoy the atmosphere and the feeling of being right at home, especially when Pickle, the cat, decided to jump on our bed! Kim always has great recommendations for dining, and furnishes a filling breakfast. Always a pleasure!

We stayed two nights in the Kirkham room and it was wonderful. It is in a great location, we were able to park right out front and it's just a short walk in to the centre.
