Myself and husband spent a weekend at The Georgian House in November 2016. When we were near we phoned the hotel staff who gave us directions to park to the rear of the Georgian House. On arrival we were told that it was £6 per day (per 24 hours) to park in the Georgian House car park which is extremely...

Six of us booked 2 nights for a conference. On arrival staff were really friendly and helpful, drew maps for us and gave us directions to our conference. Rooms were nice and clean and the location brilliant. Unfortunately on leaving, the hotel tried to charge us more than quoted when we booked.I accept that they were quoting what was displayed on their...

Checked in and was shown to mews rooms. Very comfortable bed. Room spotless, breakfast 5 star. Location perfect with just a 2 minute stroll into the city centre. What more could you ask? Would definitely book again.

We first stayed there in 1974 on our Honeymoon weekend when it was called the Georgian Guesthouse, so since then there have been many changes and improvements, which are still on-going. Graham and his staff made us most welcome this time around and nothing was too much trouble. This time, for our wedding anniversary, we stayed in a Mews room,...

Stayed here for two nights with friends and I had a twin room to myself set in the annexe. The price was great for accomodation so near the centre and the room was comfortable and very clean. The only problem I did find with the room was the lack of phone signal on EE network and with no phone in...

Pros: The location was amazing and the value for the location and facilities were great as well. There is no need to drive as you're as close as you could be to city center as you can be without being inside the walls. There is plenty of food, drink, shopping, and site seeing all within easy walking distance. The staff...

I was a little worried about booking here as some reviews had mentioned street noise but I asked for a quiet room and that is exactly what I got. The room was very clean, came with toiletries and bed was very comfy. Would definitely stay again. Felt more like a hotel than B&B. Location perfect for exploring beautiful city of...

All in all a good experience. From the top. There is a hotel car parking lot to the rear. Telephone when you arrive and the owner will let you in. £6. Public car park is very expensive during the day BUT much cheaper if you leave by I recall 8am. Accessed the hotel via the rear. New mews accommodation looks...

Stayed here for the first time this weekend. Arrived midday and we were able to check in and leave our bags. Staff very kindly took our bags to our room which was on the top floor. Lovely very recently decorated bright room with big ensuite. Wee bit noisy as on the main road, but that's just to be expected. Only...
