Very clean, lady who met us was lovely, we arrived a tiny bit early so had to leave our bags in a public area and they remained there until we came back, a nice touch would have been for our bags to have been taken to our room for security and customer care. Room was spacious and clean however the...

I had never been to York so we were in the Uk for Christmas, thought we would take the train to York stay a couple of days and then head back to Devon. I found this lovely B&B, a few minutes walk from the railway station and worth every penny. From the Royal Albert China to the lovely Christmas tree...

Minster View turned out to be easy to find and Toby came out to meet us without delay. The accommodation was clean and well furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and the heating very effective. There was a clear view of the minster to the rear and it proved to less than 5 minutes walk away. Minster View was very...

A tidy little guest house with friendly staff and good on suite facilities. The room was big and comfy, although the decor was quite old this added character. The main city attractions were 10 minutes walk away for us (fairly active couple), I'm sure taxi's and buses run although we didn't use one. The walk gives plenty of opportunity to...

6 friends stayed at the Minister for 3 nights and enjoyed the great hospitality by the staff. The breakfast was very good and served by great staff especially Stewart but don't mention the Ashes. Rooms where big and clean with the location just a short walk to everything. Would definitely go back again. Thanks again to the wonder staff.

We spent our "minimoon" in York, and this guest house was perfect for our needs. They catered for my dietary requirements, and the place was a very direct walk into the centre of the city. The breakfast was really tasty, and the room was brilliant. We were at the front of the house though, and the wifi wasn't that strong,...

Just spent two nights at this lovely victorian B&B. Warm and freindly welcome, a very pleasant room (maybe just a bit dark, but it was at thw back of the building) but had everything you needed including an iron and ironing board! The room was very clean and the shower even had a dispenser in it for shampoo/conditioner/shower gel which...
