The hotel is a bit dated and needs a little TLC but in terms of value for money is well worth a look.at. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Although our room could have done with an update - winky, sliding doors to the bathroom, unmatching curtains and decor, old fashioned hairdryer etc - it was clean, warm and comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable and there were plenty of towels, hot water and supplies. We were particularly impressed by the breakfast offered. It was not only cheap compared to most hotels but was plentiful and freshly cooked for us - including perfect poached eggs. All this for less than the nearby Premier Inn and Travelodge. We were also given the options of early check in and late check out. If, like us, you are looking for a night or two”s stay while you move house or attend a function etc, I would heartily recommend it.

Nice location very quiet. Food portion sizes were good and the room service was quick. The hotel would benefit from a deep clean and all over painting as it looked grubby in places and dark. The bedroom rug needed a deep clean as it had a few stains on it. Beds were comfortable and soft, we slept well.Had to ask for toilet roll as we only had a quarter in the bathroom and more t bags and milk.
Upon booking on the internet we had the option to add breakfast upon arrival... But arriving we were told breakfast was not served at the weekend!?! We were pointed in the direction of the local mcdonalds and Cafe instead!! Very disappointed and surprised to say the least. The hotel did apologise and gave a reason... although this made no difference as we still had to find breakfast every morning.
For this reason we will not be returning to this hotel again, looks like it's back to the premier inn for us next time we have a long weekend away.

Recently had a dinner at Westone Manor Hotel and was not impressed. At the start of the "Eat out to help out" initiative the hotel was not set-up to provide the correct discount, only £10 discount was given irrespective of the quantity of meals purchased therefore for our 2 meals our order was taken and paid separately. When the main courses arrived they came at the same time as the starters. For my main course, Chicken Arrabiata Penne Pasta, the Arrabiata sauce was very good but the chicken was 4 very small pieces, approx. 10mm cubes and no one came around to enquire about our meals. While the tables outside in the garden were well spaced apart no one requested our contact information, particularly relevant as we did not book in advance. Also while the hotel had signs defining a one way system through the bar area, very few people used this system and the staff did not direct persons leaving the bar area to follow the one way system.

Stay 02/08/2020

Our first trip away since lockdown. From the photos this looks a lovely hotel. As this was a very last minute booking we arrived late at night. Checked in at reception OK and directed to our family room. It is the first hotel I have stayed in that has no carpet on the corridor leading to our room, although there were carpet grippers down, and was surprised to find no carpet in our room. Room seemed clean although the room looked dated and the bottom of both beds were all frayed. I decided we must be in an area that was about to be refurbished. The shower was almost non existsnt. Overall the room seemed clean. My daughter spotted something large and black on the floor in the morning, when we looked closer it looked to be a large beetle on its back. We turned it over and it scuttled off under the single bed.
Another appeared from under the drawers. As they were so big we took photos and on checking out we informed the receptionist and showed her the pictures. We then emailed photos with details to the hotel. No response received, we have made a few phone calls to speak to a manager who is never on duty. My daughter was told that it was more than his pay rate to deal with our complaint. I was told that delay to replying was due to large number of emails regarding wedding cancellations. They seemed to think that was more important. We showed our photos to friends and a few said they could be cockroaches, I have never seen one so I wouldn't know. Sadly as I was getting no response from the hotel I decided to inform Environmental Health, they were going to send someone out. Still no response from the hotel to our original email and 3 phone calls over a two week period. It is the non existsnt customer service and their obvious lack of concern regarding our complaint that has upset us more than sharing our room with uninvited guests. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This was an extremely disappointing stay from start to finish unfortunately. It is difficult to know where to begin. The hotel from the front is reminiscent of a secure facility, unwelcoming and harsh to the eye. There are not enough parking spaces for the rooms available which resulted in guests double parking and blocking other residents in which is a matter that clearly should be addressed.
The reception was manned but service was very slow, check in process was quite long considering all of our options had been made prior to our arrival.
The room itself was clean enough, supplies for coffee and tea were provided but in meagre portions, especially the milk. Toilet rolls were both nearing the end of thier usefulness, to such a point that we had to ask for extra even though we only stayed one night. One bedside table, not two and the bed pushed so far over to one side that only a small toddler would have any hope of walking around the bed, climbing into it from the bottom was the only workable option. The TV was hanging at such an angle from the wall it looked as though it was trying to commit suicide and throw itself to the floor at the first opportunity. The tap in the sink ran hot no matter whether you chose hot or cold. The shower head had been swapped for a sprinkler which placed as much water on the walls as it did on the occupant.
Dinner was an absolute disgrace, we were seated at our table early because we had been told there was a 45 minute wait for food. One waiter told us to order at the bar and then a few minutes later someone arrived to take our order. We ordered starters and nibbles along with our main courses and were told we would have them delivered all together as the kitchen was very busy. Which in itself was odd as the restaurant was only half full and several people were already eating. One and a half of our starters/nibbles arrived, both of which tasted exactly the same even though one was squid and one prawns. There was a problem with one of our drinks which had been done incorrectly, the waiter whisked it away to change it and then promptly didn’t bring a replacement. We waited twenty minutes and then had to go to the bar to remind them. The main courses arrived, one was not cooked properly, one was cold and inedible, one was half cold and just about edible and one was a salad which was very basic but edible at least. So one meal got sent back, two didn’t get finished and only one was eaten. This whole process took the best part of two hours and left most of our party hungry and dissatisfied. The last part of the starter arrived when we had given up all hope and was inedible anyway. When the management were approached they were less than forthcoming with any form of discussion or concession in regards to the cost of the meal or the standard of the food provided.
The whole place appeared to be understaffed, or staffed by people who had no clear idea of what they should be doing. It almost seemed at times as if every member of the staff was supposed to be in three places at once and everyone who was staying was suffering because of it.
I cannot recommend that anybody should choose to go and stay at this particular hotel.

We came here over the F1 Silverstone weekend for one night and this was the only available hotel this weekend nearby and now we know why.

We arrived and check-in was reasonably quick. We got our room keys and walked through the various multicoloured strip light corridors to arrive to our rooms. Carpets hadn't been hoovered for a while and rooms were boiling hot. With no air conditioning.

We'd booked dinner online in the hotel restaurant and breakfast for the following day too.

We went down for dinner an hour before we were due and sat outside. It was a lovely evening so we asked if we could bring dinner forwards, which they said was not a problem. We asked to be moved out of the sun and into the shade so they moved us inside, when I asked why we couldn't sit on the terrace (which was out of the sun and completely empty) we were told that they had cleaned the table inside and we had to sit there and it would mean they would need to give us new cutlery, I said we'd happily move the cutlery and move to one of the other vacant tables, which after some pained faces from the manager, we did.

We ordered food and then waited for 50 minutes for it to arrive.

They stopped serving food at 9pm so we ordered desserts at 8.40pm, only for their ordering app to say food orders had finished. When I asked the staff they told us, yes they've closed the kitchen.

Had the worst night's sleep in a hotel ever. Mainly down to someone in the carpark revving their car engine at 4am, not the hotel fault admittedly but frustrating nonetheless.

We'd booked breakfast online for 9.30am and double checked when we checked in it was for 9.30am and were told yes all booked. Our room cost didn't include breakfast, so I paid the £9.50 per person for a cooked breakfast.

We got down to breakfast at 9.25am to be told they stopped serving breakfast at 8.30am. After lots of faffing about and then after a 10 minutes wait and telling them our room number 4 times and our name twice we were allowed to sit down.

They asked what do we want for breakfast, when my wife asked for a menu, a lady said there isn't one, it's just a full English. We ordered four and our "full English" arrived... Looking very sorry for itself, it was more like a quarter English in the middle of a plate.

If you're going to Silverstone and this is the only available hotel left, avoid it! Buy yourself a tent or sleep in your car. You'd get a better night's sleep and save yourself a tonne of money.

'Quirky' is one word to describe it, absolute nightmare show is probably better suited. Firstly, the room you get is nothing like what is advertised on the site when you book. Forget manor house, think more shabby 1970s tower block that hasn't been updated since the day it was constructed. I actually wouldn't be surprised if the bedding and towels are the same ones used back then either. The room was stuffy and hot, and being on the ground floor we couldn't open the windows to make the situation much better. The free wifi they advertise is likely free because it barely actually works, good luck even sending an email let alone trying to stream something online to distact you from the horrors of your room. You have to close the bathroom door when having a shower otherwise the fire alarm apparently goes off, but of course the door is sliding and doesn't actually shut. Oh and after that don't even bother trying to dry your hair as the vintage hairdryer won't work.
You also won't get any sleep because the walls are paper thin and all you'll here is Joe and Sally frantically shagging next door, or Joe and his pals having a party upstairs.
You wake up from your fractured sleep and think you'll now go and get a nice spot of breakfast. This is where the joy of the stay really begins. The extent of breakfast is a couple of boxes of cornflakes, some tinned fruit, and a few mini burnt croissants. No staff are around to be seen, and most of the free tables are covered in dirty crockery. You can't even make a drink as there are no mugs, not that you'll probably want to as there isn't a coffee machine and your only options are a thermos with tea premade in it (piss would probably taste better than that was let me tell you).
And don't even bother thinking about complaining about this rubbish experience as no one is ever on reception.

All in all, if you want to be transported back to a 1970s stay in line with the Shining, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, save yourself the experience and money and visit the Travelodge down the road.

This hotel is dated and rooms are average to say the least.
On check in insisted on taking my personal card details even though the room was paid in advance by my employer. Said it was for security reasons. On checking my card statement they had authorised a payment on my card with out my permission.
I would not recommend this hotel at all and as for the new operations Manager he was rude and coderseñding when I had a poor meal in there very expensive below average restaurant.

Was booked to stay here this Thursday but, due the fact I am shielding, we are unable to travel.

Originally booked last year at a price of under £300, as soon as the date was confirmed for the F1 Grand Prix, they called to say the price had gone up to £468 and if i wanted to proceed it would become a non refundable booking. I didn't have any choice as the other hotels were pretty much booked up.
After the country went into lockdown I tried several times to contact the hotel via phone, email and through booking.com, no response at all.
Eventually got through on the phone last Friday, I explained I was unable to travel and was hoping they would waive the cancellation fee under the circumstances. I was told I needed to go through booking.com and given their number to call. I did and the very helpful lady said the hotel should be dealing with it so she phoned them for me, she was told only a manager could make that decision and we would have to wait their response.
Their response was I could not have a refund at all, not even a partial one however if I wanted to i could ring and they MAY accept a change of date.
After considering it and reading the reviews on here, we decided to cut our losses and have now cancelled and lost £450. There was absolutely no compassion from anyone at this hotel at anytime and a complete lack of communication, even after lockdown was lifted.
I would warn anyone wanting to book here to think twice.

Hello. As far as I am concerned you can burst into flames but I guess that is not what you are asking. NO. Only outside in the cold and rain. Have a good stay.
