I'm writing this at 5.30am. I've been awake most of the night. The constant humming noise from the air conditioning unit / bathroom extractor fan (can't tell which) has been on constantly, is extremely annoying and stopped me from sleeping. Yes, everything is switched off. Yes, I always bring earplugs with me when staying away. No, the earplugs haven't helped.
The good points : easy to get to, plenty of parking. The staff at reception and serving at dinner were friendly and efficient. The room is large and was clean. The bed is large although two pushed together, but each side is big enough that I haven't encountered the ridge in the middle.
Not so good: the fact I can't sleep due to constant humming. Also, whoever thought it was a good idea to put a smoke alarm that flashes every couple of seconds, on the wall near the bed, needs their head examining. It could easily have gone round the corner of the wall by the bathroom where it wouldn't be visible from the bed. As it is, it's something to look at as I contemplate how noisy this room is.

Honestly a beautiful hotel, I stayed in one of their Suites of three nights and I have to say, they are probably the nicest hotel rooms I have stayed in within the UK by far, the extra touches that go into these rooms are just fantastic and the terrace outside is stunning with views or horses, dogs and rabbits going past over a lovely well kept field. The food was fantastic and I only used room service, which whilst I appreciate my room is a long way from the restaurant, the staff still turned up with a smile and professional service, in fact they were just great! The room was priced at around £300 per night for 3 nights, which I believe to be more than reasonable given the added extras you get and the Jacuzzi bath and a bathroom sized like a bedroom.
The only thing I would ask for them to change is to add a selection of drinks to the in room fridge upon arrival with the option to purchase throughout your stay, however I am away there is a pop up shop at reception so this may be why they do not offer a minibar service, but would be good for when I stay next.
More than highly recommend given the premium service and quality of the hotel, every single one of the members of staff are lovely and say hello as you walk past, you don’t feel like you’re an unwanted guest at all.
I look forward to staying again soon!

My husband, myself and our son stayed at this hotel for just one night in a king room with a sofa bed.
Plenty of parking spaces outside of the hotel and a warm welcome from the reception team when we arrived. A short walk to our room which was clean, light and bright and at the end of a corridor on the ground floor.
Our son’s sofabed was all made up and it was large and comfortable. There were tea/coffee facilities and a mini fridge and complementary waters.
The room was warm, there is a cooling unit, but not sure how efficient this would be in the summer time.
We were out in the evening so didn’t dine here.
Slept well and didn’t hear any noise - loved the pillows!
Breakfast was brilliant, worth the extra charge. Something for everyone and the food was hot, good quality and fresh.
If we were in the area again, we would be happy to stay once again.

On arrival fast and efficient check in, friendly staff and first impressions looked promising. On route to the room you pass the very nice conference room, then you pass the rooms. Then you notice the quality of the reception and conference rooms slip.
Heaters hanging off the walls, a musty smell and the feeling of a very old chain hotel sets in. The room was very big, but it’s been a while since I’ve had the shower of the bath set up, or the yellow stained bathroom tiles. The constant low level noise is the extraction fan all night was clearly not great if you are a light sleeper. Overall the room was tired, bed was 2 singles pushed together which caused a ridge that you rolled over or up against. The food was diabolical , over priced and clearly warmed up in a microwave . My steak was £35 , £4 for chips and £3.50 for a sauce ?? It was the worst meal I have consumed in a hotel , avoid eating here. The only positive is the staff each one deserves a pay raise , they were keen and enthusiastic . Such a credit to a dated hotel , that has sleet money on superficial areas and neglected the basics . Comfy bed and good food.

Arrived and my hotel room key didn’t work. The battery in the door receiver was flat and they had no maintenance and were fully booked. Finally got a room after 30 mins wait. Then ordered dinner in the restaurant and treated myself to the most expensive dish - steak and chips at £39 !!! Saddened to receive this meal and refused to pay.

We stayed Saturday night and it was £116 including breakfast
Location is very nice with loads of free parking. The room was very clean and with everything you need. The staff in all departments were exceptional, all very polite and looking to assist. The breakfast was superb. The chef cooked eggs to order and they were perfectly cooked. There was a wide selection of fresh loafs of bread which were superb.

We had a very enjoyable couple of nights staying here. We had requested a quiet room in the hotel & the staff had fulfilled this for us & the location backed onto parkland. We weren't disturbed at all. The room was clean & comfortable but the only minor annoyance was the lack of sockets/USB ports by the bed for charging phones etc. The continental buffet-style breakfast was superb, offering a cooked choice too. It was excellent. We had a dinner in the evening & the tortellini was one of the best I've ever had - very tasty. All the staff that we encountered were friendly & professional. We would stay here again & would certainly recommend it.

Attended a meeting at the Delta hotel, we use it a lot as a business for meetings, today we had lunch too. My dietary requirements make it more difficult to eat out, today however, I had a lovely cooked meal and even dessert without gluten, dairy or any seed oils used as either ingredient or part of the cooking process. Wonderful staff took time to check before arrival on needs, check timings on the day and ensure my food was warm and fresh! I really really appreciated the efforts, it has made my day!

Our stay was fantastic and all the staff were really helpful and professional.
We had one of the engineers come to our room to help us out called Derek who couldn’t do more to help us and fixed the problem immediately.
I would really recommend staying at this hotel as we were made to feel so welcome.
I will definitely be returning to this hotel the next time I stay in Northampton.
