Thursday stay for me and 2 colleagues. Seems recently refurbished to a good standard. Excellent value for money for the rooms and food. Good selection of food and drink. Seperate good sized restaurant and bar. We ate in the bar; tasty and generous. I would stay again.
Came for a family dinner back in December. Staff were really friendly and having got married here, I was touched that they remembered us. Food was delicious and we did not have to wait long at all. Our server was attentive and really lovely.

I am a funeral celebrant and so am invited to many “wakes” and the Walnut Tree Inn offers one of the best buffets with friendly staff and excellent choice Highly recommended It’s conveniently located just a few minutes from the Counties Crematorium and has ample parking
