N.B. The main bunkhouse as pictured on their website seemed very comfortable and cosy When we arrived (earlier than planned at about midday) we were told that our room wasn't ready and the host told us she was busy making Sunday lunch, so asked us to sit in the bunkhouse kitchen with TV and board games to wait which was...

Nothing was too much bother for Sandra who picked us up from The Crown and dropped us off in the morning to continue on Hadrian's Wall Path. A lovely breakfast brought over to the bunkhouse got us ready for the long day ahead. A perfect host with a warm welcome and ideal accommodation for us

This b&b is on a working farm. Sandra and David the owners are really friendly and helpful even picking us up from a nearby hotel to take us to their farm. We stayed in the bunk barn which was basic but for the price they charge you get more than your moneys worth, Full english breakfast was beautiful and was...

Although I booked the bunkhouse we were put in the B&B house rather than the barn, so it was warm and comfy (though i think cost more - the owner didn't confirm the price on booking so it cost more than i expected). The owner was very friendly and it was a relaxed place to stay. We had our own...

This is a good place to stay when walking Hadrian's Wall Path, being situated close to it. The welcome was friendly, the room comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and a good way to fuel up for the day ahead. Pack lunches were also available. The farm has a lovely location and we enjoyed seeing the kittens.

This is a proper old-fashioned farm bunkhouse/campsite. There is the very basic bunkhouse (bring your own bedding and cook for yourself) and the serviced bunkhouse with quilts, towels and a cooked breakfast). We were in the latter one. Compared to other bunkhouses we stayed in on the trail this place was the most tired in terms of furnishings and limited...

We arrived late in the day and we're unexpectedly picked up by the owner, Sandra, on our way into the drive. After a long day's walking, we were shattered! We'd booked in to camp but to be honest were rather too tired! Sandra offered us a variety of indoor options- camping barn, bunkhouse or B&B. We opted for the camping...

The owners are very helpful and friendly. It's about two miles from Cholleford but they were so kind to pick us up. We stayed at several bunk barns along the Hadrian wall path and this was the best place. They have a washer and a dryer which was a blessing after a day of walking in foul weather. Highly recommended.

A very warm welcome and outstanding service on this working farm. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast outstanding. A very busy place but it in no way detracted from the service, which included a lift to the Crowne. A welcome break for weary feet!

We arrived to a very friendly welcome Sunday 17th July and were shown to a lodge house in a converted barn with good facilities and wash shower facilities nearby. Internet access was free but patchy. Sandra very obligingly gave us a lift to and from a local pub/restaurant in the evening. Breakfast was very good, brought to the barn. I...
