We stayed in the Versace Glamour apartment for one night while visiting Kielder's Winter Wonderland. The apartment was huge and the décor and facilities were first class. We have very high standards when it comes to cleanliness, and I'm happy to report that the whole place was absolutely spotless; in fact the oven was actually gleaming. We'd honestly recommend this... We spent a couple of nights in the French apartment on the ground floor which was spacious and comfortable for the two of us. The main bedroom had a comfortable bed and good size en-suite, although there was little space to hang clothes. The living space was bright and airy with large windows that overlook a court yard and there... More

We had two days here while visiting the Kielder Observatory. The location is good - just twenty minutes by car to the Observatory, and well placed for other local attractions and pubs. The attention to detail is wonderful: Tea and real coffee much appreciated. We stayed in Versace Glamour where everything is designed and provided with such a good eye... More

Very clean, comfortable and opulent in terms of décor and fabulous bathrooms with no expense spared. Great location for Kielder forest and water, the Lakeside Way and the Observatory all within easy reach, and walking distance of a good pub for food, The Pheasant Inn, and the village tea rooms for a great breakfast. However a few silly things let... More

My wife and I stayed at Falstone Barnes (AKA Posh Huts), Falstone, Northumberland for two nights (September 16th and 17th) and enjoyed our stay immensely. We stayed in one of the huts which was very clean and well equipped to meet our needs; in fact, other than food and drinks we didn’t need anything. Within walking distance there are two... More

We had a 2 night stay at the barns and really enjoyed our stay. The site is lovely and peaceful. We'll defo be back to stay in the posh huts on the site, in the future. The lady (sorry didn't catch her name) who managed the barns was really friendly, v helpful and accommodating. We booked via trip advisor app... More

There is no doubting the beauty of the location or the rooms themselves, they are stunning. Gorgeously decorated and well maintained. For a relaxing break, this place really delivers. However there are a few minor niggles which take the shine off a little. These are very minor issues, but it's often these things that set places apart from the norm.... More

We stayed at Classic opulent apartment. We all enjoyed the care and attention to detail in the apartment. The owner has put her heart and soul into beautiful 2 ensuite bedroom home. I would highly recommend this wonderful barn conversion. We stayed for 2 nights and looking forward to going back. For location it is perfect for Kilder and we... More

My husband and I spent a night here to 'get away from it all' and we certainly did that! We stayed in the medieval barn which was 'quirky' but ideal for a night for the two of us. Lovely to enjoy such a peaceful night - though given the rooms are interlocking it is possible to hear the neighbours (but... More

Been to falstone barns twice once in March and once in July and both times the stay was lovely. Clean and tidy apartments with everything you need for you stay. Quiet and peaceful. Beware of midges in the summer months in the evenings though. Will definitely be back again, it may even become a yearly thing for my husband and... More
