£16 for a 6 dorm room. Very grotty unfortunately. Bathrooms are really bad. Having said that, the person who took my money was friendly enough, and didn't feel threatened having a pint downstairs. Was the 2 ring electric hob and microwave in one corner of the pub the kitchen? Oh dear! No tea or coffee apparantly available which was a... More

I'm quite used to staying in hostels, but this was a new one on me! The hostel actually consists of what would previously have been private accommodation above a pub, but that's since been converted into 8-or so dorm rooms. I've no idea how many beds are in each dorm, but in dorm number 3 (the one I stayed in)... More

hummm, where do I begin....... if you are looking for somewhere to stay that is funny in the extreme then this is the place to go!!! The hostel is above a pub, which was a throw back from the 1960's and you would expect to find Del boy and his mates! Making your way upstairs to the accomodation you begin... More

I'm not going to complain about the quality of the hostel; I've paid more than £14 per night for places that are as comparably bad and think you get what you pay for. However, I do have a warning for everyone who plans to stay here. Be careful of the owners and their deposit, as they will withhold it for... More

THE worst accomodation of all time. I've felt more safe, comfortable and hygenic on overnight trains in eastern europe packed with crackheads. The beds are stained and springs poke through, the bathrooms should be condemned, and the staff are just horrible people. They'll ask for a sizeable bond if you do stay there - dont pay it. They'll spend the... More

This has to be one of the worst expierence of staying in a hostel. Ok fair enough its a hostel and your not expecting a 5* hotel, but this isnt about the conditions (even though they where also terrible, couldnt even have a shower as I thought I would catch something) this is about the service. It was a a... More

This place was an absolute disgrace, the rooms were terrible, the showers disgusting, and the staff......Well what can i say!! They were rude, arrogant and even tried to blame us for taking the pin out of a fire extinguisher, even when we weren't in the hotel at the time. This place is clearly a scam, and i advise anyone who... More

of course you get what you pay for. of course it's not going to be the ritz. of course you probably won't ever go there again. but by damn it was a good laugh. I didn't know what to expect so I kept my mind open. awful beds and bathrooms, blood stains on the walls and someone stole my shampoo,... More

“I rang igloo and midtown before this one and was told they were both full. At the end of January too! best to book in advance as they seem to get folk in going to the arena or other places.”
