First room heating noisy and antiquated hardly providing any heat, phone not working and towel rail not working. Second room eventually moved to,towel rail still not working apparently turned off due to health and safety, toilet did not flush, lift had mind of own and one of controls pushed in the other taped over. This hotel is disgraceful. Booked for one night, thankfully. When we arrived at 5pm and checked in. First thing we noticed about the room was a rather loud buzzing noise coming from the air vents. We hoped this was on a timer or able to be manually stopped. We left the room to attend a concert, then returned at 11.30pm....

Arrived to check in and was greeted in reception by 2 of the local homeless community having a fight in the lobby, the duty manager appeared to be attempting to break it up! I asked the girls on reception if this was an isolated incident and was informed by her that the hotel is currently housing around 40 homeless! I...

Booked through bookings.com. we paid £177 for 2 nights. This didn't include breakfast, but there's plenty of places to eat in the town centre. The room was big and spacious and was clean. The corridors leading to the bedrooms were grubby and had a funny smell, but other than that, it was clean. The rooms are joined to next door...

We booked a 2 night stay as we were going to the theater and Christmas market and having stayed in the Coventry Britannia previously and having read reviews on the Nottingham one, we were prepared for a cheap and cheerful stay. Unfortunately, we didn't get the cheerful bit! Our room was huge - guessing it used to be 2 singles...

Simple - do not book this hotel! We booked this hotel for one night just to have a nice night out in Nottingham. I used to know Nottingham very well so didn't bother to check trip advisor before booking as I thought I knew that this hotel would not be the best but be ok for one night - how...

We stayed last week, going to the theatre, for which and centre it is most convenient. Room fairly clean but poolrly furnished and finished. Room lock hanging on by one screw. Staff on reception were efficient. However we saw fellow guests, a couple of bemused business people who thought it a laugh, obvious builders walking around in work clothes and...

This place is tatty, dirty and dilapidated. Saw some real strange characters including a guy completely stoned who'd lost his shoes! Despite all it's faults (I could write a book) I couldn't get annoyed as there's a certain charm and the lady on reception was a cheerful, helpful asset to the place. If I'd paid any more than £65 for...

Very unimpressed with this hotel. Stayed for work for a couple of weeks, had to reset room cards daily and had the bath water from the room above run through the ensuite ceiling. Staff said it was just one of those things!

Staff were friendly, bed was comfy and clean, public areas like corridors left a lot to be desired, carpets were dirty and thread bare in places, the breakfast was lovely and served in the restaurant which was very nice, the downstairs bar, bar rogue is great, lovely comfy decor and the drinks offer was fab at £2 for any drink,...
