Very good and friendly staff. Nothing was a problem for them. Rooms were clean, fresh and comfy. Hotel is close to the city centre. Only problem was the price at £130 per night for a single occupancy.
It looks a bit grim from the outside, but one of the most appealing Travelodges I've stayed in once inside. I had a good sized, clean and airy room with the usual superb bed and excellent shower. The city centre location is great for Trent Bridge (buses 5-11 inclusive from stop MM1 a bit further up Maid Marian Way). The receptionist couldn't have been more welcoming or informative. I didn't need to use the catering or wi-fi, but it ticked all the boxes for me. …
A comfy bed and everything you expect from Travelodge. The hotel does seem well used but everything in the room is clean. As with most Travelodge's the room got quite warm but a fan is provided. Overall good value for money and very central.
Stayed at the hotel over 13/14/15-9/19 the room was clean, fresh, the breakfast was slightly more expensive than a local pub chain but for me as appetising so swings and roundabouts really. Helpful staff
Bf and I were in room 906 on the top floor, which was a very large room, pleasantly surprised. Amazing view of the city. Very soft bed linen and comfy bed. Shower was great, just wished there was one more towel. No air con but there was a fan provided in the room which was great as the first night was a little too warm. Just make sure you shut the windows as the clock tower makes quite a racket and starts early!…
