Located conveniently for public transport and local attractions, the Leonardo Hotel Nottingham has garnered appreciation for its cleanliness and stylish atmosphere. While situated somewhat away from the city center, guests enjoy the welcoming vibe of the bar and lobby, as well as the variety offered in the breakfast spread. The rooms are generally found to be spotless and comfortable, though some guests mention they could benefit from updates and improved temperature control. While opinions on value diverge, the warm service, especially from the reception staff, often receives high praise, despite occasional lapses in efficiency.

The Jury’s Inn is about a 5 minute walk or less from the train station and a 2 minute walk if you are travelling by coach (due to the restructuring in the City Centre)

On arrival, you can feel the warm welcome, check-in is easy.
There are multiple lifts to take you to the floor that you are staying on. The hotel is extremely clean.
The rooms are spacious, clean and modern, On entering the room you receive a complimentary packet of biscuits and bottled water. The rooms are unbelievably comfortable. You have everything you need and more.
The beds are also very comfortable you have a good nights sleep. It’s like you are at home.

Con: The Cost of Meals. I paid £16 for a Chicken Burger and a pot of fries which was very nice but not worth the price! This was highly extortionate. I believe all the food prices where terribly extortionate. At the time I had no choice as I had just arrived and wanted to rest rather than going out to find somewhere to eat. If you can find somewhere to eat out it would be a better option, but if you choose to have a meal at the hotel, be prepared to pay for the cost.

I always use the Jury’s Inn when I travel. Even though the hotel may be classed as expensive to some it’s worth every penny paid. You get what you pay for and if you want class and comfort, The Jury’s Inn is a highly recommended choice.

Stayed here Saturday night as a party of overt 40 hens. We partied at Bistro Live and our accommodation is as booked as a package. Absolutely brilliant!! Very friendly staff the rooms were large we were on the 4th floor right next to the lift but never heard anybody coming in late useing the lift or the room next door. Bathrooms were fine, only complaint the shower wasn’t very hot or powerful but we had shampoo, conditioner and body wash, with lovely fluffy white towels. Breakfast had everything a girl could wish for after a night out! Something for everybody. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it was near to the railway station. We used a multi storey car park 10 minutes walk away and cost £5 for 24. Hours.

We used this hotel as a location to carry out some photographic work with my friend who is a model. The hotel is very high quality and all of the rooms are nice and clean. Facilities in the room are good with flat screen TV, tea & coffee making facilities and a large shower cubicle in the bathroom.
The bar was open for takeout drinks and bar snacks but there was no restaurant or room service available due to current COVID-19 restrictions.
I intend to use this location again without a doubt.

Hotel is 5 min walk from rail station and 10.min walk to Motorpoint Arena, National Express coaches across the road Rooms are clean and comfortable and above all so quiet, we didnt hear a thing despite being outside the lift.

Breakfast was hot and plenty if choice, including vegan.

Only downside was the heating in our room did not work, but reception arranged for a portable heater

Tea and coffee in room. Iron, board and hairdryer. Would recommend to stay here if attending Motorpoint Arena.

As soon as hotels master the way to eliminate lengthy and pointless check in procedures, it will be amazing. I had a poor experience at this hotel in particular. With only one person at check-in, I was waiting over 10 minutes at 10.30pm at night, why can’t they speed this up?

The hotel looks quite smart on first arrival, obviously very new and located in a great location right next to the train station and about a 10 minute walk from the lace market area.

Being a ‘new build hotel’ is where the problems start. The walls are clearly made of a similar material to newly built homes - it was SO noisy. I had a whining elevator and train station engine noise all night, despite being on the 11th floor. Maybe I had the elevator engine room above me (as I was on the top floor).

Breakfast was average. Hotel coffee isn’t the best, but this could win awards for being so bad. Why do they get those terrible machines?

I tried to buy a coffee from the costa area in the opposite side of reception after breakfast and I could not attract anyone to serve me!

Overall I would say this hotel is clearly not as good as something like a premier inn. Gut feeling is 2 stars, similar to something like an Ibis Styles or an old Travelodge experience. Great location though. Just bring some ear defenders.

Good Afternoon StevenParky, Thank you very much for taking the time to review your recent stay with us, we are pleased to read that you found our hotel’s location to be great! On the other hand, we are really sorry to hear in regards to the noise inconvenience and that you were unhappy with the breakfast service. At the time of writing, we are working with some temporary challenges around consistent staffing and supply chain issues which have come up due to the ongoing pandemic which means that on some occasions we haven't been able to meet our traditionally high standards and we do apologise that this has affected your stay. We very much hope you'll be able to return shortly and enjoy an experience much closer to the ones that our guests have always been able to rely on and return for! We stayed at the hotel as we were going to the O2 arena which is a 5/10 minute walk. The room was clean and comfy. Toiletries provided were shampoo, body wash and hand wash in dispenser bottles. It would have been nice to also have body lotion as well. Tea facilities in the room. There could have been more milk pods left but you can ask for more.
We ate in the restaurant. The food was good, a bit more expensive than if you go out into town.
The staff were friendly. Good variety for breakfast. The only thing there was that the jams etc. we’re not in individual satchels, you had jars of 3 types of jam. I couldn’t see any marmite, peanut butter etc.
On the whole good value.

Stayed here for 1 night as we were seeing slipknot at the nottingham arena. Hotel Car Park was really confusing to get to and we ended up in a different car park about 10mins away at double the price. Hotel itself is looking a little tired but is only 5mins walk away from the arena and 15 min walk away from the centre for food etc so location is brilliant. We were on thw 10th floor and the Room was really quiet considering the hotel is next to a busy road and the train station. Breakfast was good and had a good selection hot and cold food.

We (3x adult males who had booked a triple room)arrived at 8pm and were due at a restaurant at 8.30pm, so we wanted to drop our bags and go out. Upon arrival they said they had a "Stay over" which meant that our room was no longer available. The only room they had was a room with 1x double bed for us 3x adults and thought that this was an acceptable solution.

"Manager" jokingly said "Which one of you is going to be the big spoon?".

Because they had offered us this as a 'solution' it meant that we had to take the room with a £50 discount (originally we paid £185 for 1 night!!), or take our custom elsewhere. They knew we had to be at a restaurant in 30 mins and we therefore felt this was used as leverage against us to take the 'solution' double room so we could make the reservation at the restaurant.

The "Managers" both didn't seem to have a problem with the solution they had provided, and didn't care that they didn't have our room, even though we had booked months in advance and travelled hours to get there.

We were not even offered a camp bed, or as much as an additional towel that the 3rd adult could use in the morning to shower, as there was only 2 provided in the room (proving this shouldn't have been classed as an acceptable solution for 3x adults).

One of us had to sleet on the floor.

It was the worst piece of customer service I have seen at a hotel and would urge anyone reading this never to book this hotel, unless you have also booked a back up room elsewhere!

Upon arrival note on table no housekeeping for short stays for the environment. You have to leave your rubbish outside by 10pm for collection (lovely) dial 0 for fresh towels (OK I want to help the environment I can do that in fact I’ll use the same towel the whole weekend)
REALITY: the towels are still wet when you come back from shopping as the room is like an ice box as you take your card with you which turns the heating on. No towel rail so you call housekeeping and reception for 20 mins no answer. You are already undressed for your shower so you just use a soaking wet towel (lovely)
What also happens is they give you one toilet roll (cheap flimsy and very small) so you also have no toilet roll past day 1 and cannot get it replaced as no one answers the phone.
I hate people that leave these kind of reviews but don’t tell anyone whilst they are there - I told reception in detail on checkout she said she would pass the comments on……
I’d imagine it’s a bit like we will answer the phone….
Jury’s: I agree with the principle of this, but if you are going to do this you need to be slick. You need heated towel rails not controlled by the room key and enough toilet rolls for the stay!

You do not need a card for the lift.. If I remember rightly you get two cards, so could ask that reception pass the key to your wife so you do not have to meet her. Or as Sue has replied she could just go straight to room. Marie

I think we paid 19 GBP (pounds) 3 weeks ago. Total refillable buffet. Stay as long as you want and eat as much as you want. Cooking stops around 10:am. (It's a full British breakfast, hence it's not American bacon, etc. But fried and scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, toast, etc. Not pancakes or waffles. Other meats and cheeses.) I sincerely doubt they charge for small kids, since they are far more concerned about pleasing the customer!
