Stayed here for 3 weeks while working in the area, it was clean & comfortable with friendly & helpful staff, the rooms are not ensuite but that wasn't a problem, no breakfast as we started too early, all in all a good place & reasonably priced, I would happily stay here again.

A basic but meet refurbished hotel in the centre of Lenton. Perfect for nosey parents wanting to visit students! Rooms were very clean and the staff were incredibly helpful. Finished with a great vegetarian breakfast this is a 10/10 from me

On arrival I found the receptionist welcoming and friendly, and was told my room was ready early, and helped with my case up the stairs. The hotel has quite an old-fashioned feel to it, I can't decide if I liked this quirkiness, or if I was disappointed really! Someone else said they thought the furniture had come from a seventies...

Stayed here prior to University Open Day. Well located for this purpose. Adequate for a short stay. Breakfast good value. Lino floor on our triple room was very basic. Bedroom furniture looked like it came from a 1970s house clearance sale.

I spent a single night here with my girlfriend in November 2016. We chose the hotel due to its convenient location for the University and because the special offer at The Britannia had ended, making the P&J Hotel the cheapest on this night. The hotel kindly allowed us to check in an hour earlier than their official check in time...

P and J is an old fashioned hotel very conveniently located close to Nottingham University. It is between 2 or 3 stars category in my mind as it looks more like a BB than a proper hotel. I found the room to be very cold and the bathroom water too. Furnitures, mattress and bed were dated and bath towels were...

Advantages: in general, polite staff, traditional english premise, on a central street of Nottingham close to the city center, with a bus station right outside Disadvantages: in particular, a very rude and indifferent man in the reception, many small stairs without lift, we stayed for four days and they room service did only the bed lining and the towels without...

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to nearby family and because it allows dogs. It was perfect for both. Our room was downstairs and accessed direct from the car park (perfect with a dog). Staff were really friendly. Room was adequate, though shower showing signs of age. Breakfast was prompt, good choice and good quality. It's a 3...
