What a beautiful place to stay!!! We booked this B&B based on reviews we had read and were very thankful we did. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 small boys) and stayed in the barn with the self catering option. The barn is very charming and extremely clean and comfortable. Peter and Sally are extremely welcoming...

This B&B is highly recommendable. The rooms are beautiful and the house is charming. The hosts are just so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. Fresh, homemade and lots of choices. The surroundings are very nice, also.

We usually stay in Bourton on the Water but decided to try Burford for a change and we are very glad we chose to stay at Star Cottage. It's a really lovely B&B where a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere has been created by Peter, Sally and Digby (the very cute & well behaved dog). We stayed in the triple room...

Star Cottage is a beautiful place to stay in one of the most beautiful areas of Britain. Peter and Sally are lovely hosts and the self-contained converted barn in which I stayed with my 11yo daughter is perfect in every way. The interior decor is stylish in a subtly elegant country cottage with a contemporary twist sort of way... sorry,...

My husband and I stayed in one of the lovely bed & breakfast rooms at Star Cottage. The room was beautifully decorated and so comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious with the scrambled eggs with local trout a real treat. A wonderful place to stay - walking distance from the picturesque town of Burford.

Star Cottage is full of charm. My husband and I were delighted to find such a perfect place to base ourselves for two nights for our Cotswold visit. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bath room spotlessly clean with lovely toiletries to use. The back garden is a beautiful and peaceful place to sit. Sally and Peter were very welcoming...

Absolutely loved this place. The Star Cottage of Burford is beautiful and full of character. Peter took us on a tour of the surrounding Cotswolds, passing by the Lavender Farm, and we had a picnic lunch overlooking a beautiful part of the country side. This personal tour is A MUST DO!!! You will not regret one minute. The accommodations are...

Dear H and family Thank you for the lovely review. I am so pleased you enjoyed the tour and hope you had plenty to see but not in a rush. The weather was absolutely brilliant for the picnic! Thanks again and I hope you take some great memories back to the USA.

My girlfriend and I have just returned from a wonderful weekend in Burford and stayed two nights in the barn conversion at Star Cottage. Peter and Sally were most welcoming and the cottage was beautiful. Both mornings Peter brought our breakfast up to the barn and we enjoyed fresh fruit, home made jams and cooked breakfasts. The interior of the...
