We stayed here in October and the staff were excellent and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the location was fantastic. Be warned though, there is no parking on site so you will have to park nearby and possible walk a short distance with your luggage. Our room was warm, clean and tidy. It was however also very small.... More

Having arrived in Burford in the pouring rain we discovered that a lot of the shops do not open for business until 10.00. So what else do you do, you go eat. The Priory has a very pleasant double sided frontage, upon entering we were greeted and seated by a very pleasant lady. The menu overall looks large but we... More

The husband and I came to the Priory in August for our wedding anniversary and had such a great stay that we arranged to bring my parents, brother and sister in law back for a family weekend. We were not disappointed. Yes, the rooms are basic but perfectly fine for an overnight and when you take into account the price,... More

We arrived and entered through the tea room as it was unclear as to were the entrance was as well as reception. The young lady and people in the kitchen area were very friendly however we had to move backwards and forwards to allow for service to the tea room before we established check in. Payment was taken from our... More

A planned excursion to the Cotswolds included a breakfast at this cracking little restaurant. We've visited before, but only for tea and cake. It was a good job we got there early cos shortly after the place was packed! Service was quick and friendly, especially given the numbers seated; food excellent; quantities generous. A request for jam/marmalade for the abundance... More

Had a night stay for a local wedding, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, couldn't ask more. We chose the room with the shower(not shared) the room was small but ideal, clean and separate from the restaurant. They have Wifi but you couldn't find it in our room as it was too far away. Had breakfast in the morning... More

We popped in for breakfast and it was fantastic, you can tell they use very good quality ingredients which are well cooked. The service, decor were great. Free wifi I would highly recommend. What else to say? Try it

We only stayed 1 night, which was fine as it was a small room, but perfectly comfortable and quiet. Very good service, and fantastic Breakfast. Really convenient for the a walk around the lovely village. Good for cream teas too.

The room for 3 was smaller than our previous and we had a shared bathroom for the first time but the price was v.reasonable. Located on High Street so dining options were plenty. Breakfast was good n coffee options included our fave flat whites.
