Had a lovely stay at the Angel. Staff very attentive and friendly. We also booked a meal which was fantastic. Everything was freshly cooked and well presented. The room we had was on the front of the building which was very spacious. It wall clean bright and well decorated. My only criticism was the bathroom. Although it was large and...

We had the deluxe bedroom on the second floor of the cottage in the back. It was comfortable, spacious, and (after the kitchen staff and restaurant guests left for the evening, about 11:00 pm) quiet. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was excellent -- typical British breakfast.

Great home cooked food and good beer. Great value. Relaxed atmosphere, with a friendly welcome to all of us, including our dogs. The Angel at Burford made our day out with friends very special. Thank you!

Upon arriving the staff were very welcoming and the pub was lovely and quaint. The bedroom was lovely, large and clean. The television was very small and to change the channel you had to get out of bed. The bathroom was a little bit of a let down compared to the bedroom. It smelt fusty/damp with paint coming off the...

On a overnight stay in Burford we ate at The Angel the food was Ok however very expensive and the portions were unbelievable small. The main course is like a starter. We then ordered some sorbet for sweet which came in a small bowl mainly because it was so runny it was like a drink not a sorbet.service mediocre and...

We made a largish booking which required two tables. Couldn't sit down until well after our booking, and just told it would be ready when it's ready. It took an hour between the first meals and the last meals to be delivered to the tables. Although roast beef had been ordered on both tables the accompanying veg came only in...

I think I have already replied to the review left on our other profile by your party, but to address a couple of points.... - all our roasts come with gravy (and if you REALLY love it you can have more too!) - carrots are only one of the vegetables given - you also have a parsnip puree, and cabbage...

Had a great couple of days here. The couple who own it were away so a big thank you to the bar manager who looked after us. He was so brilliant and welcoming at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was really big and so beautiful. I'd booked dinner, B&B for one night, but then ended up...

Speed of service was disappointing, Staff were friendly though. Food was really good but not worth waiting the 30 minutes we did between starter and main. (for reference there aren't any baby facilities on site)

Lovely Cotswold gastropub. We sampled some local G&T's which were fabulous before enjoying some wonderful food. As a pescatarian the menu was extensive the food was truly lively as was the service. I would highly recommend.
