This was mine and my husbands 2nd visit to the Maytime Inn and it didn't disappoint. The rooms are lovely and spacious, bed is so comfortable and a great touch with Cowshed products. The food is so tasty and they have a lot of ales (amongst other things) to offer if you wanted a chilled drink. Dom (Owner) and Andy...

I stayed here back in the summer on my own, stayed with husband in Novemebr and had lunch with daughter last week. Which ever visit I comment on, the service was excellent, rooms were both top class with lovely chocolate shortbread, also food very tasty served with a smile. Loved the avocado .bacon and poached egg on toast breakfast entree....

Booked here last minute and so glad we chose this place. The room was spotless and modern, lovely bathroom with a heated floor and large bed. We stayed in the farriers room. Had a beautiful meal in their restaurant and breakfast was equally as good. There is a nice bar with a log fire to sit and relax in. They...

Spent one night at the Maytime Inn in November. We had the last available room which was small but comfortable. Food very good in restaurant and we had dinner and breakfast. The breakfast was especially good as was the dinner all three courses were of a high standard and the choice was good-pub classics or fine dining were both available.

Our trip came just after we got married and we wanted to just get away somewhere for a few days. The hotel was lovely in a lovely setting and very romantic. Check in was easy and welcoming. The room we had was lovely, and the roll top bath was immense! The food was spot on and service was impressive, the...

What a wonderful location and such a welcoming and friendly pub with rooms. Great service from arrival to departure. Quirky rooms (we stayed in an outdoor annex) which were clean, well equipped and nicely presented. Lovely homemade shortbread was a real treat on arrival. We didn't eat dinner but enjoyed a very good breakfast with good quality ingredients and a...

Just what we hoped to find for our mini-break in the sticks. The accommodation was stylish and clean, the staff very helpful, the food excellent and the pub atmosphere very relaxing. There are lots of places to walk and Burford is a 5 minute drive or 25 minute stroll away. Lovely. We will be back!

I found the Maytime Inn to turn out just as I imagined it would be, something you might see in a movie. Authentic, comfortable, good food and not in the middle of a throng of tourist, (if we had stayed in the center of Burford, it would have been noisy & people everywhere ). instead it was nice and quiet...

We were absolutely delighted when our gps took us to this lovely inn that we had booked! It is in the perfect, pastoral setting of the Cotswolds. Our room was small, but very authentic, comfortable and cozy. Our bathroom was great with heated floors and towel rack. Bedding and towels were very comfortable. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate in our...

I stayed here with my husband for 2 nights as part of a week long getaway to the South West of England, taking on Cornwall, Dartmoor and The Cotswolds. The trip included a stay in a 5* castle but this place was the absolute highlight! The Maytime has tried to keep true to its roots by providing a resting spot...
