I have just returned from the most wonderful weekend break at The Bull, along with my parents, my wife, and our new-born baby Abigail. The hotel is full of olde worlde charm - it dates back to 1475, and is quaint and quirky, while still retaining the delightful feel of a quality hotel. We stayed in the Trafalgar Room with...

Very nice hotel with welcoming staff and very reasonably priced.Lovely food although the steak was tough (these things happen) and the chocolate fondant dessert is to die for! Perfectly located to explore the beautiful village of Burford and the surrounding countryside. Bourton on the Water which is only a few miles away is a must. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed one night on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis for £99 with Travelzoo and it proved great value Our room was on the 3rd floor (no 5, James 1st) in the eaves so was not full height in parts and had velux windows. Bed was a bit small (standard double) and fixed board at the bottom made it feel...

This is a very quaint old Coaching House. The food was delicious, very good traditional dishes. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely return. The 'Burford' Mess was the best I've ever dated.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We love the town of Burford and surrounding area and it was great to be in the centre of it all. The food was excellent at the hotel - amazing white crab risotto and we would definitely go back for the food as the choices were all very tempting. We had a four poster...

We were on a tour of the Cotswolds and stopped in Burford for an afternoon tea stop. It was a bitterly cold day and, having walked up the main street looking for somewhere warm an inviting, saw the sign outside The Bull advertising Mulled Wine – well this was just what we needed. The Bull at Burford is a beautiful...

Really helpful manager and staff. Went to a lot of trouble to make us comfortable. Great, interesting and tasty specials on an otherwise unexciting menu Good value central location in a pretty town with great countryside around.

We visited this attractive 15th Century Inn for dinner on a cold January night. The atmosphere was warm with a wood burning stove and the two staff were very friendly. The male waiter was from Menorca and was happy to answer our questions about the Island. His female colleague was also very attentive and rushed over with some water when...
